Brooklyn's roommates

Part 1

You:Finally!My own place since my parents kicked me out 2 weeks ago..

When you were 12 you knew you were lesbian or bisexual.When you were 14 you took some time and found out you were lesbian.Well 2 years later you came out to your parents and they kicked you out.So you got online and found a apartment.You we're going to share it with 2 other people.It had 3 beds,3 1/2 baths,1 kitchen,1 living room,and 1 laundry room.It was an ok size it had space put the rooms were close.You did research and found out no one lived there so you tried to buy it and you got accepted!
For the first time you stepped in the apartment.You looked around for a while before picking the 2nd biggest room because it had the biggest closet and bathroom.You put you stuff in your room and ordered furniture for the room.A few weeks later you had everything you needed/wanted.Including a mini fridge.
You:I really like it here and I'm wondering when I'm getting roommates?I guess I'll just wait for them to tell me.
A few days later.
Knock knock*
You run to the door and open it.
You:Hello!
Random person:Hi we just came to tell you that 2 girls are coming to stay with you.One is 15 and the other is 16.The 15 yr old is Lisa the 16 yr old is Drista.They will be here in 3 days!
You:Oh...uh...Thank you!
Random person:No problem!
Without another word he left.
You:Uh okay so the 16 yr old is Drista the 15 yr old is Lisa.Uh Drista gets the bigger room since she's older.Okay got it!Im ready I just need to get the place clean and ready for them to arrive.Cant be too hard,right?
For the next 2 days you were cleaning and making sure the guests had everything they needed.The last day you took a break and showered,made sure you smelled nice and got everything were it needed to be and double checked everything.Lastly you made welcome baskets and put it in their rooms.After you went to sleep and woke up at 6:30 to get ready for them to come.
You:Omg this was so much harder than I expected.Well I'm going to eat breakfast and fix snacks for when they get here.
You make eggs and ate them.Then made cookies,brownies,and cake.That set you around 12.So you made little lunch sandwiches.At 12:30 everything was ready.At 12:45 you heard knocking.
You:Uh...coming!
You open the door and see your roommates!
You:Hi!
Lisa:Hi!!!
Drista:Omg hi!
You:Um...come inside!
*they both walk inside and put their bags down as well as taking their shoes off.*
You:Well this is it nothing to special I guess!Oh I'm really sorry,my names Brooklyn!
Lisa:Don't be.I'm Lisa you might already know.
Drista:Yea please don't be sorry.I'm Dirsta!
You:Well do you guys want to see your rooms?I can show you if you want!
Lisa:Yes please!
Drista:Yes that would be great!
You take them to their rooms and they thank you for the welcome baskets.After you show them where everything is you decide it's best to give them time to unpack and settle in.
A half hour later they both come out of their rooms.You were sitting on the couch.They sit on either side of you.
Drista:Do you guys wanna do something to get to know each other?
Lisa:I'm down!Brooklyn?
You:Yea I'll join.
Lisa:How about,20 questions?
You:I love that game!
Drista:Me too!
You:Ok so are we going to take turns or 1 person does their full 20 questions?
Lisa:Let's do turns to make it more fun and interesting!
Drista:I agree!
You:Me too!
After 1 hour you get to know Lisa and Drista pretty well.
Lisa:That was fun!
You:Yea I really had fun!
Drista:I did to we should play that again sometime!
You:Yea.
Drista:Well I happened to notice that its 5:45.Wanna DoorDash something?
You:Yes!I can pay don't worry!
Lisa:Ok what do y'all want?
Drista:Um idk?
You:I don't either looks like your picking Lisa!
Lisa:Hey! *She says before laughing*
You all happen to laugh a bit.
As soon as you think you calm down you all look at each other and burst out laughing.It was almost like you have known them for years.Even though you just met them.
Drista:Ok!We seriously need to pick something to eat it's 6 now!
Lisa:I suppose!
You and Drista start wheezing.*
Lisa:What was funny about that!?
Lisa soon also started laughing.
You:Stop!We are going to laugh until 1 am if we don't stop.
Drista:Ok fine!How about we eat Olive Garden?
You:Fine with me,how about you Lisa?
Lisa:Yes that's fine!
You:Ok I'll order it real quick.
After a couple minutes you pressed order.
You:Ok it's on its way it will be here in 25 minutes.
Drista:Ok.Want to fine a movie or video on YouTube to watch while we eat!
Lisa:Yea sure!
You:Yea that's fine with me!
Drista:Ok I'll pick one out for us.What do you g-
She was saying before getting cut off by by her phone ringing*
Drista:Oh sorry it's my brother making sure I made it here ok.
You:Ok take it really quick I don't mind!
She walks off taking the phone call.
Lisa:Well how about we watch a try not to laugh video?
You:Oh god.How would we ever eat!?I mena it would be funny!
Lisa:Yea your right!So are we gonna watch to or?
You:Well duh!
You both start laughing again!Just then Drista came back.
Drista:What are you guys laughing at now!
Lisa:IT WAS BROOKLYN!
You:HEY!
Drista then started wheezing which made you and Lisa laugh even harder!
After you guys finished eating you threw away you food and sat down in a circle.You then thigh it was time to tell them your pronouns and sexuality so they new how to address you.
You:Ok so I have something to admit.
Drista:Ok!Go ahead!
Lisa:Yea go ahead!
You:So,god this is harder than just thinking about saying it.
Drista and Lisa realized you had trouble telling people things and you had some social anxiety.They each reassured you it was ok and they would accept you no matter what.
You:Ok.I go by they/them.
Lisa:Ok!Is that it?
Drista:That's fine!
You:No it's not it.I'm also lesbian...
Drista and Lisa both hugged you really tight.You've never felt so relaxed and comfortable in your whole life.
Lisa:See now the only problem is I'm also a lesbian.
Drista:See now the next problem is I'm also a lesbian.
You:Well that took a turn really quick.
You all laughed and hugged each other for coming out.
Lisa:Well it's getting a bit late and I woke up at 4 bc I didn't want to miss my flight.
Drista:Yea it's late but I didn't wake up until 6.
You:Yea same with Drista I woke up at 6.
Lisa:Well ok you two,I'm going to bed.Goodnight see you in the morning!
Drista:Night!
You:Goodnight!
You and Drista went to your room and sat on your bed.
Drista:Wanna get to know each other a bit more and listen to music?
You:Yea that sounds good!
Drista turned on music.
Drista:Ok about family!
You:My mom kicked me out because I was lesbian.My dad is in the military.Brothers couldn't do anything to help me stay so I bought this and now I'm here.
Drista:Im sorry.
You:No it's fine!
Drista:Well I kinda just wanted a place to stay with other people.My family doesn't know anything yet and I want to find a girlfriend before I tell them.
You:Well I wish you luck!
Drista:Thank you!
You:Yea!No problem!Its pretty late I'm going to turn on music of my own and head to sleep.
Drista:I was about to do the same!Wel goodnight then!
You:Goodnight to you too!
