Obviously everyone admired River Parker especially the girls. His ego started rising. Now all that was about to change

River Parker
I woke up to the sound of my maid knocking on the door. I quickly stood up and wore some clothes. Last night there was a party and since I don't leave my room with pajamas I changed out of my jeans and Gucci shirt into a pair of khaki joggers and white Tommy Hilfiger shirt. I looked closely at the girl lying in my bed and saw it was my girlfriend Lydia. Lydia and I have been dating for the past four years and this last year the spark just disappeared. I have been meaning to break up with her but.............
I opened the door to the maid and she was coming with a wagon in front of her. I just greeted her good morning and instructed her to leave Lydia on the bed she agreed with a grunt. I jogged down the diamond and gold encrusted railings. I got downstairs and walked into the kitchen. My mom usually cooks but now that's she's on a business trip. So .......... I ended up cooking. I learnt most of my cooking abilities from Africa and then usually mixed it with America's style to make a delicious meal. We usually went to Africa once in a while cause of my younger sister. Michelle turned 7 this year February 15. It has always been my responsibility to take care of her. As I was in the kitchen Lydia walked in. She was wearing her shirt that said bitch corvette corvette and some fur slippers.
Lydia: Morning babe
River: How was your night
Lydia: eh..... sooooo
This is what I mean by lost the spark
Johnnie: yo yo yo
Thank God I whispered. Johnnie is my best friend. A black American with the mind like a white the accent like a black. We have been friends since we were kids. We were five in our clan. Johnnie, Dan, Derulo, Skyle and I. Johnnie is the funny one, Derulo is the strong one, Dan is the smart one, Skyle is the childish one, and I'm the leader.
River: Wassap bro
I echo through happiness giving him a hand shake and a hug simultaneously
Skyle: Dude I have big news
Derulo: Yeah for the first time Skyle isn't joking
River: Okay what's going on
Skyle: You're going to Africa. But not just you it's a boys trip
Lydia: And the boy gets to bring his girlfriend right?
Dan: well here's the thing
River: Of course you can come
I just said that because I didn't want her to break down in tears. I could already see the doubt disappointment and sadness but in everyone's faces.
Johnnie: Dude can we talk
River: Sure
He led me into the kitchen
Johnnie: Look, this isn't an insult or anything like that but why the fuck is Lydia coming for our BOYS WEEK OUT.
River: She is literally going to explode in tears if we don't. Don't worry bro. I'll make sure she doesn't get involved in any of our activities.
Johnnie: I'm trusting you on this.
River: I gotta ya
