Two days. For two days y/n stumbled under Akira's the protective gaze, just waiting. The devilman hadn't taken the death of his friends well. Whereas y/n kept small things like Gabi's ring, the mag of Hei's gun, Miki and Wamu's shared earring, Asame's necklace, Akira kept Miki's entire head.

He looked horrible, one arm never letting go of her skull while the other held y/n's hand protectively.

"Not her.... please not her. She's all i have left." He would mumble in his sleep, arms caging y/n to his body.

It wasn't until the third day that y/n followed him up a cliff quite a bit ways from the city. At the top, there was Ryo, watching the sky contently.

"I had a feeling I'd find you here." Ryo said, not looking over to his friend.

"....Why did you betray the humans?" Akira mumbled.
"You drove them mad by making them scared."

"Humans are weak." Ryo said.
"Their extinction inevitable-"

"Don't be ridiculous! You're human too!" Akira yelled, staring down at his feet while still clutching the head and y/n's hand.

The air was cold and silent.

"Actually I'm not, Akira."

Suddenly Ryo's body bursted into a show of grand lights and sparkles, forcing the two devilmen to momentarily sheild their eyes. When he looked back, there was an angel. One with large majestic wings, 6 on each side.

"You see, Im Satan." Ryo said.
"I challenged the icy cold god some time ago and I was banished, never to return. I wandered the dark universe, and came to this land. Long before humans existed, this land was dominated by demons."

Y/n froze still as it spoke. She knew she felt something off about ryo, she just knew it had it to be true before. He was scary before, but terrifying now. He made all her hairs stand on end.

"Weakness means death, only the strong survived. And that's the history of power. Just as humans developed powerful weapons, demons changed their own bodies by merging. I liked the demon's simple and straightforward hearts, so i chose to settle down here"

"But the unmerciful god could not allow that. We remained, as bodiless entities and waited. And as humans came around, we gained consciousness by merging with humans, just as amon and charybdis did to you."

"I too merged with a human. But instinctively, I eliminated those to tried to kill me. I didn't regain any memories of me being satan, but subconsciously i was putting the plan of reviving the demons together."

"Akira, humans are going to perish, so you have no choice but to live with us."

"Are you telling me to side with the demons??" Akira growled.

"You are a demon, not a human."

"I'm still a human!" He yelled,
"You were the one who made my body into a demon."

"It's the strongest instrument." Ryo commented.

"My family, my friends.... I lost almost everyone, all because of the demons."

"Oh Akira, let's live in the new world together, I made you merge with the Champion Amon for that reason. I supposed we'd have to get rid of y/n. Once You merged with Amon, I hoped the consciousness of Charybdis was long gone, yet even now she continues to get in my way."

"YOURE FULL OF SHIT." Akira yelled, taking on his demon form and knocking y/n and ryo back a couple yards. Y/n shook it off and took on a demon form of her own, just for good measure.

"You took something precious from me. I'd honestly like to cry for you, but all my tears are dried up." Akira growled. He looked back at Y/n for a moment, just checking to be sure she was still alive.

"I don't intend to fight you." Ryo stated.

"That's okay, I have enough fight in me for the both of us." Akira replied.

"Humans will never lose to demons like you. I will destroy you, each and every one of you."

"If you make me your enemy, you will die."

"I'll kill you, the next time our paths cross again."
