Chapter 2

Matthew POV

Ahh Monday morning and feeling good! Switched on my radio, heard YouMeAtSix, Underdog. That song is gooood.

I lazily rolled of bed, as usual, had a shower and put on my black skinnies and red plaid shirt and a black beanie. Grabbed my backpack and hurried downstairs.

Mum and dad were sitting there eating breakfast; I said my good mornings and waited outside for my lazy brother to get downstairs so I can get to school. I can drive but he's younger so I HAVE to drive him anywhere he wants to go, otherwise no car.

'Finally Jake, what took you so damn long?' Smacking him on the back of his head. He was just a year younger, and he had his natural blond hair in random spikes, me I wasn't like that, I dyed my hair black and had it straight and hangs off my head with little gel. Luckily I was taller than him otherwise that would be embarrassing having him taller than me.

You see, he's the good son, listens to my parents, gets good grades, not much of a partier, I'm the opposite, I like to annoy my parents, my grades are well let's say there average and I LOVE to party. It ain't a party if I ain't there. I'm not saying that I'm a bad person, I really am a nice genuine person but when it comes to following the rules, it's not me, I'm a rebel.

'Hey it takes time to look this good' o did I forget he's a bit cocky too. 'Yeah yeah yeah I don't really care lil bro just get in the car so I can take you to school.' He sighed and got in the car. I got in the driver's seat.

Buzz. Buzz

My phone vibrated, it was a text from Jessica;

Hey babe can u pik me up plz, ma car broken dwn ly x.

 'Alright nerd, get in the back, Jessica's sitting here. And don't even think about arguing.' He just stared, but I got the better of him and he sighed and climbed into the back. Victory :D. I sped to her house, came out of my car and walked to the door, few minutes later she opened the door. We both leaned in for a kiss, I didn't care that my little brother was staring, I've missed my Jessica.

I was than interrupted by a big gag noise. 'WHAT!! You lil twerp, just cos you never had a girlfriend before.' I smirked and Jessica gave out a little giggle. He was about to open his mouth to say something, that I didn't want to hear, so I just drove off.

From the rear view mirror I saw Jake listening to his iPod. 'Jessica we have a new girl starting school today, her names Danni.' I told her, she was just looking at me. I could feel it but I didn't know what sort of expression it was.

Awkward silence

'So HOW exactly do you know about this girl 'Danni'?' ooo you shouldn't have mentioned Danni, I'm thinking she's jealous. Confused. Yes we all are.

'Umm I meet her on Saturday, she looked kinda lost, and so I thought I could help her, umm out and that...' silence 'cos you know I like to help people, you know doing a good deed a day is really good'

Just silence

Finally we got to school. I stopped trying to make her talk to me. I know what she's like, she's going to think through the WHOLE situation (not like there is much but hey I love the girl) then she will give me the verdict.

Parked and got out, went to the other side to get the door for my lovely Jessica, trying to work my charms. Giving that dazzling smile she cannot resist. I think it worked, she just smiled : ).
