The Saxons were being defeated as you all fought, covered in blood and dirt. You growled the a feral animal as you slit throats, snapped necks and broke bones.

You killed many men by the time Prince Aethelwulf finally ordered the retreat of himself and his men.

All Vikings in the bloody and mud filled field roared in victory, yourself included.

You laughed as you hugged your father and Bjorn. When you reached Ivar who was covered in mud and the blood of the Christians, you laughed again as you hugged him before he gave you another long kiss.

"Are you happy?" Ivar asked over the shouts of his men

"I'm so happy." You promised

He grinned as he hugged you again before you both continued to cheer with your people.

You cheered and cheered when Ubbe, Sigurd and Hvitserk walked over, cheering themselves.

"We won!" Hvitserk shouted as he climbed onto the carriage, hugging you and Ivar.

"What are you so happy about?" Bjorn asked causing you and the surrounding people to quiet down. "It is not over yet."

Even with Bjorn's words, you and the other sons of Ragnar continued to laugh. Hvitserk and Ubbe gently smacked Ivar causing him to swing at them himself while Sigurd hung off the carriage.

By the time that you had all finally arrived at Wessex, there was nobody there. No guards at the gates and no army waiting to attack.

You had all figured hat they would be hiding inside their kingdom as you all thought you were right when Bjorn commanded that everyone was to attack.

You all approached the kingdom and broke down the front gate.but everyone stopped again upon noticing the empty kingdom. Not a soul was seen.

"Be careful." Bjorn said as you all inspected an open door to the castle. "It could be a trap."

Harald and Halfdan along with some of their men went to inspect it while you and Floki looked around.

"It's empty." Halfdan said as he and Harald came out of the doors. "They've gone!"

Everyone cheered and hugged each other as they began to flood into the castle.

People were trashing the palace and burning things whereas you were gentle and inspected the items you thought were interesting.

You were shocked when you had been loading treasure into a carriage and saw Ecbert walk out from the palace.

The people made a path for him as he walked toward you, Ivar and Bjorn.

When a man went to shoot an arrow, Bjorn stopped him, all while staring at Ecbert.

People pointed swords at the drunk man as Bjorn started toward him.

"This is King Ecbert!" Bjorn said. "I order you to spare him."

The swords and other weapons were lowered as Ecbert placed his hand's on Bjorn's shoulders.

You had a bad feeling. No reason why. Just a bad feeling as you entered the palace. As you turned and began to walk down a hallway, you saw your mother, hand in hand with Tanaruz.
