T A E H Y U N G

I looked at my phone for the sixth time in the past minute.

Wednesday, September 22

Nothing is special about the date...just that it's now 2 weeks since I auditioned. Waiting for a call ever since, I haven't thought about anything else. I've lied to myself for the past fourteen days about the reason I was anxious during them.

I just want to get in the class.

Lie.

I detect my own lies in the words because that's not why I wanted that call or why I was feeling anxious about it.

I want to see Jung and Kook again.

That's the real reason.

For the past 2 weeks, I've been thinking about the twins nonstop. Questions like what exactly happened that night? and Which one of them was with me? and Why the fuck are they so hot? filled my brain.

Obviously, none were answered.

I groaned while on the bed, covering my face with my watermelon plushie, Tannie.

"Tae?" Jimin entered, uninvited but deeply needed.

"Hmm?" I hummed, face still stuffed in Tannie.

"Are you okay? I just heard a bear-like groan from outside." He chuckled, the bed dipping with his weight as he plopped beside me.

"I'm losing my mind, Min." I put the plushie down, looking at him.

"Is it about the dance class again?" I nodded, partially, "I told you-just go there again. Maybe they still haven't started or haven't decided."

"2 weeks is a lot of time to start and decide, Jimin," I sighed, "I didn't get in."

"Well, they're pretty fucking dumb if you ask me." He shrugged easily, words dripping with certainty.

"Look," I sat straight, "That's also not the only reason I'm losing my mind to. There's-"

I looked at the ringing sound of my phone to find an alarm going off,

Nanny time

"Fuck, I forgot that was today." I groaned in a bear-like way indeed, laying back again roughly.

I was not emotionally or physically ready for that today.

"You better get your ass up then, nanny. I have a study date." Jimin clapped my thigh hard, making me bolt.

"Asshole! I hope you fart!" I called as he got out, a cheeky smile plastered on his face.

I really hope he doesn't...

It was nanny time.

"His uncle will be back by seven, okay?" Irene said for the...4th time?

She was fumbling around her Gucci bag while walking out of the mansion.

"Your son is in safe hands, don't worry about him," I promise before she stopped dead in her tracks.

"Who told you I was worried about Minho?" She turned around, her chestnut eyebrows raising, "It's you I'm worried about, honey."

"Oh, no you shouldn't-"

"That's him?" A young voice called from behind.

Why did I tense?

"Kim Taehyung is going to take care of you while I'm gone, sweetheart. Behave."

"Yes, mommy!" The little boy nodded eagerly, looking as adorable as eyer with his cat-like big eyes.

Cute.

"Okay, I'll get going now." She turned, aiming for the front door.

After she was gone, I turned around, getting a weird feeling that I've seen this mansion before.

"Hey, you fat rat."

I took a good second to realize I was the one addressed by him.

"Pardon?" I crouched down in front of him.

"I said hey, you fat rat." He crossed his arms.

What the actual fuck?
