"Juvia, right?" Lisanna cocked her head, grinning.
"Thats me." Juvia smiled back.
"Well then, Miss Loxar," Lisanna said with an exaggerated wink. "Allow me to escort you to your five-star suite, complete with empty pizza boxes and dirty clothes scattered everywhere." She bowed to Juvia, who giggled and followed her towards the elevator.
-
Elevator music played softly in the background as Juvia anxiously tapped her fingers on the wall.
"Still can't believe you're here, to be honest." Lisanna said, smiling brightly.
"Yeah." Juvia smiled back timidly.
The elevator made a loud "ping," signalling that they had arrived at their floor. Grabbing Juvia's arm, Lisanna dashed out of the elevator and lead her down to a door that read "12B."
"And," Lisanna opened the door dramatically, "Welcome to my hell."
Dazzled by the apartment, Juvia tiptoed in slowly.
"Where're your parents?" Juvia asked, noticing that no one seemed to be home.
"Mother's likely in hell, literal hell, and dad's in Korea for the next week." Lisanna answered, picking up a slice of pizza from the coffee table and jumping onto the couch. Juvia followed and sat down beside her.
"Oh - what do you mean by hell, literal hell?" Juvia asked.
"She's dead. And please don't say "I'm sorry for your loss" because it was fifteen years ago. And she's probably in hell 'cause she got high in church so often." Lisanna bit off a large piece of her slice of pizza and laid back on the couch, which was so soft she practically sank into the cushions.
"O-oh. Okay." Juvia mumbled.
Seconds of silence passed before Juvia spoke up again.
"I swear that couch is a Titan and you're, like, freckled Jesus being devoured by it." Juvia blurted out, giggling at her own joke.
"I'm so confused and I feel so misused." Lisanna said through a mouthful of pizza.
"Um, it's a TV show? Where these giant beings eat humans?" Juvia explained.
"And...what's a freckled Jesus?" Lisanna stared at Juvia, smiling.
"He's a character in it."
"What the actual hell are you doing in your free time?" Lisanna burst out laughing.
"Honestly, I have no idea." Juvia giggled along too, clapping her hands.
"Hey, do you wanna hang out again this weekend?" Lisanna asked.
"Uh...I seriously don't know why I would say no." Juvia laughed, scratching the back of her neck.
"Ay, that's my girl!" Lisanna jumped onto Juvia's lap and smothered her in a hug.
Juvia's face slowly turned pink as she ran out of breath.
"H-help..." She managed to say, struggling to push Lisanna off her.
"Oh, right. Sorry. I have a habit of suffocating people." Lisanna laughed and released Juvia.
"You don't say?" Juvia rolled her eyes.
After a second of silence, both of the girls began to tear up with laughter, clutching their stomachs.
"Okay, okay, so what do you wanna do?" Juvia asked when the laughter had stopped, wiping a tear from her eye.
