I am a Greybearer. "What is that?" is already what you're asking, likely. After all, it isn't a job that we, as Miitopians, have access to. In truth, I made the name up, but it is mainly mix of the Thief, Vampire, and Elf, with some influence from my previous experience as a Scientist and Warrior, and my counterparts of the Imp, Flower, and Princess.
The Greybearer is a neutral ally and enemy, a friend to all sides, and yet rejects all sides, both at once.
That's my life. Yet I found allies to join me in my quest in what is best for the world, to defeat the Dark Curse, and save what soon became her.

I spent most of my life as a Thief, striking whatever was in my way and stealing what we needed. When I came in contact with the Bat and Elven Charms, I felt a spark, but I backed away from them, to concentrate what I had to get to the most amount of strength I could as a Thief.
Once I did, I moved to the Elven Charm and got its power of the Elven. Then it clicked with me, and I rushed over to the Elven Retreat, asked the sisters to train me.
Whenever they did, I often paid them in return for their lessons, despite saying that I never needed to.
Amai, she kept putting me in a happy trance for a turn, causing me to just go hard against the monsters in the path, which surprised all of us. It's not that I'm surprised she keeps hitting me with Dancing Arrow, she keeps telling me I'm annoying, after all.
Tútú often kept to herself and only intervened when she felt the time was right, when I was about to be hit, in which I mimicked her and got it down when monsters went to her or the others.
Pixel often used her melody to keep us alive, which was always the most calming in this level venture.

After we were done, they looked at each other before looking back at me. Pixel was the first one to smile. "Well, you certainly have changed since your Warrior days, haven't you, Avatar?"
"I mean, we would have had 3 Warriors after getting rid of the Cerberus if I didn't go back to being a Thief. Later, after we found Roza, when we got the Bat Charm, Proti went to that to leave the role of Warrior staying on Summit, what he thought was the best decision." I simply chuckled.
"Well, at least everything is covered, yes?"
"As covered as covered can get, I hope."
"Well, stay safe, okay darling?"
"I'll do my best."
"You better!" Amai shouted, "And bring me back some sweets while you're at it!"
"Amai, please..." Tútú sighed a little. "Stay safe, the path you're choosing looks like a long one. Please, pace yourself."
"I'll try to. I just...need some time to get some stuff finished." I simply nodded, smiling a little. "And I'll make sure to not go overboard on the strength these will have."
"Your next job you're taking is the Vampire, yes?" Pixel asked me.
"Yes, it is. Do you have any recommendations?"
She looked at the other two. "Sisters, do you know who I'm thinking of?"
"Oh, HER." Amai grumbled. "She always has to be a point of conversation when it's late at night, right whenever I'm going to bed! You bring her up as a Vampire just to scare me!"
"Don't you think that she may be one, though?" Tútú asked her.
Pixel sighed a little before facing me. "You may want to ask Adriana."
"Ah, I see. Alright. I'll go find her." I replied.
"Good luck facing her, though, if things escalate."
"But she's the Quizmaster, she doesn't fight."
"There's a reason. Don't provoke her too much about it, alright darling?"
I was trying to think of reasons to provoke her, but my mind was truly drawing a blank. There's no reason to provoke the Quizmaster. She's a simple person who provides lots of quizzes, and she often talks about breaking a wall, although her arms clearly don't have the strength to do so. I sighed and nodded. "I'll be on my way, then."
I left the Retreat as the three waved goodbye to me.
All I knew was that the Quizmaster had a secret, and I needed to find out myself. It's heavily implied that she's a Vampire, but it seems as only the Eldest knows, or is fabricating a story.

I went to the inn and just lay there, in my room. AJ was with me in the room, the Cleric, and one of the Greenhorne party.
"What's up?" He asked, as he sat next to me.
"Training. Elf training is hard, but hey, I got a sick bow and cool gear. I'm just never wearing the wig for it."
"I can tell. You're tucked out."
"Just like when you forget which target you're going to?"
"Huh?"
"Come on, you can't forget that so quickly..."
"Apparently yes I can. Eh, it doesn't matter, we're still here, even after the dread and dreams."
"Yeah, I guess that's true. If I let you all die or I ran from Melody's final form, while she controlled Manika, when your faces were stolen, where would I be? Alone."
"You care for us a lot, don't you?"
"...yeah, I do. I couldn't have won against the darkest dark without your help, I truly felt the least amount of hope I felt in...forever."
"When was the one before?"
"...a few years earlier, parent problems, before I knew my counterparts. Fought over the dumbest shit. My dad considered me a man, despite being born like...this. A mix, yet an absence. I just wanted to be...me, it's why I became a Thief firsthand. I just never knew I had to undergo this emotional toll, first finding and losing you guys, getting new friends, losing them, and then going here and seeing my counterparts, and then...gone. I couldn't save any of you when I first could, and it happened three times!"
AJ hugged me. "What matters most is the now. You got through it. You were alone at times, but you gained more companionship, and you got through this whole world. You should be proud."
I simply stayed silent for a while, before I hugged him back. I really didn't know how to respond. Maybe this was a response? He was using my kindness to him against me, airheaded fucker. You don't usually have these responses.
"Don't be so hard on yourself, okay?"
"...I'll try. No promises."
"It's always no promises."
"You can never tell."
He smiled a little. "That's true."
We broke from the hug before I went to the bag and took out the Bat Charm. "Shall I?"
"If I get to stay as a Cleric, go ahead."
"Alright." I looked at the Guardian Charm gifted from the mother and tapped it.
Right after, I was brought into bright light. "Hello again, child Avatar," I heard the guardian speak, "what is it you call me for?"
"I want to change Jobs."
"Very well, which Job do you wish?"
"The Vampire, if you will."
"Very well."
I closed my eyes and soon opened them when everything went dark. "How do I look?"
AJ looked me up and down, before giving me a thumbs up. "You look good."
"Nice. I hope you don't mind me bringing you along tomorrow, along with Proti and Holly."
"I don't mind at all."
"Sweet. Now let's go to sleep."
He yawned. "Agreed."
