Everyone gave their congratulations and blessing to the newly wedded couple, Hayabusa and Kagura. Only left is Hanabi, who seems reluctant to come near them, even though she agreed to be assigned as Hayabusa's best man.

She was still a little hesitant, but in the end, gave in. She walks towards the couple, who was still thanking the other guests. Hanabi forced a smile and gave her hand out for a handshake.

"Hayabusa, Kagura. Congrats on your wedding and may the God of light blesses you a happy life." this time her smile was very sincere, and no hatred filled in her words. Hayabusa and Kagura looked at each other, then smiles.

They ignored Hanabi's hand for the handshake, instead, Kagura ran to her and hugged her, squeezing Hanabi. "Thank you Hanabi, thank you! you finally gave us your blessing, I couldn't be any happier," said Kagura with a teary eye. Hayabusa patted Hanabi's head, a gentle smile plastered on his face.

Hanabi's heart starts to ache, how much she has been longing for that smile of him. On how much she wants to have a that close relationship. And just how much she yearns for him, yet his heart already belongs to the girl beside him, the girl he was going to spend the rest of his life with.

Hanabi left the newly wedded. She went outside the mansion, went to the spot where she and Hayabusa would often rest after their match. The place where the two of them have their normal conversation and talking like friends, not as rivals.

She sat on the roof, glancing at the beautiful full moon. She felt so lonely, yet at the same time she wasn't, especially when the moon's light accompanying her.

Hanabi has a sad smile on her face as she remembering her times with Hayabusa, and the times her trying to provoke him into a duel, and the bento box she made for him and the confession she recite so many times just to tell him, and so on

"how long you gonna wear that expression?"

She almost snapped her neck when she turned to see who it is. "L-ling? What are you doing here?" Hanabi stuttered.

"I was here before you." Ling answered, "O-oh... Sorry didn't notice you" Hanabi stuttered.

"You know, you can cry if you want to. You don't have to keep it all to yourself" Ling said, as he sat beside her, not looking at her.

Hanabi looked at him, "Heh. Nice talking, Cyan finch. But no, I'm not going to cry, since there's nothing to cry off." Hanabi proudly said.

Ling looked at Hanabi, "You know that I'm not here to judge you right? Does the other ninjas in your clan are also taught to conceal emotions? Or you're just an exemption?" Ling asked.

Hanabi was too lost comment anything. "..." but then her eyes started to water. As her tears flow, her smile starting to waver. "Damn it, my eyes are getting sweaty thanks to you." Hanabi scowled as She wipes her tears.

"Stupid." He scowled back. "You know your hurt, yet because of that "no feelings shown, no feeling hurt"  policy of yours you kept it all to yourself." Ling added.

Ling studies her fragile feature, "Now look at you hurting yourself. Masochist much?" he taunt. Hanabi ignore his last word, focusing her gaze at the deep dark sky and hugged her knees, heaving a deep sigh.

"Yeah... You're right, it does hurt." She flashes a pained smile. "It hurts a lot! It damn hurts." broking into tears she cried. "But that's him! I can't show any weaknesses when I'm around him, with everyone, even with you." Hanabi said between cries,

"I... I can't be seen weak, I mustn't show any weaknesses! I... I have been raised as a fine warrior, for me to be the next Akakage- and emotions shouldn't be necessary!" Hanabi confessed. "And here I am... With you, showing this weak side of me." She said with a sad grin on her face as she wipes her flowing tears.

Taking a heavy breath, "Maybe i'm taking you to much for granted that looking weak in front of you, is something i don't mind. Maybe, I don't mind it myself that I'm looking a like a fool in front of you, just like I am right now." Hanabi looked at him, her eyes meeting his. "Thank you, Cyan Finch."

Ling's eyes widened only for a brief moment. He was not expecting a thank you after hearing all of her profess. "huh?" he gave her a raised brow.

"I said thank you, you annoying wall walker" and once again, Hanabi sent him a scowl. "I heard, but why?" He said confused, glancing at her.

"Because when i'm about to break, you always appear whether I want you or not. Also, you don't seem to mind my weaknesses and vent out just now." She shrugged, giving him a charming smile (unknowingly). Slightly making Ling off guard.

Without giving him a chance to speak up, Hanabi stood up, cleaning the dust off on her clothes, "I'll go inside now, see you later Cyan finch" she waved a hand then gone the next moment.

Ling was left there alone. The sakura petals falling, "Foolish ninja." not himself noticing, he was smiling.

"if you only know."
