Unlike the other normal days, Priya's house was filled with her close relatives, friends and their family. It was only 6:30 AM but guess what? Priya was already awake. Strange right? She was both anxious and nervous thinking about what would happen today. She was going to take the next step in her relationship. It's the day of her Engagement. She came out from her trance when she heard the sound of her door opening. Deepika entered with a broad grin and looked Priya from top to bottom.
Deepika: I can't believe my eyes. Are you for real? You woke up this early? Baby, see. It's just 6:30 AM.
Priya: I know yaar. I'm... Nervous...
Deepika: About?
Priya: About this engagement, about this marriage, about... Everything.
Priya sat on her bed leaving a huge sigh. Deepika went and sat next to her patting best pal's back reassuringly.
Deepika: Uhh? Is this the Priya I've know these many years? Baby, see here nah. Don't worry. Everything will be alright. See who is encouraging you. I used to be the one who was always nervous. Now, why is my support booster sitting here all nervous? Boost up my girl.
Priya was still sitting with a worried face.
Deepika: Yaar... If you're sitting all worried, how will you look good in the evening? Are you gonna go all gloomy and see Vikram Anna today?
Priya's expression looked the same still.
Deepika: Hey see!! It's Vikram Anna!!
Priya twisted her head and saw towards the door with so much delight in her eyes which later reflected disappointment after realising that Vikram was not there.
Deepika: Finally!! Now I know how to light up your mood. Ahh... What a sight it was? How bad that I was not able to capture how your eyes glimmered when you heard Vikram Anna's name.
Priya: Shut up yaar...
Priya was now fully flushed and red. Poor girl🤭
Deepika: Haan, Haan. Someone is blushing?
Priya: Who? No one is blushing. Come let's go down. I'm hungry.
Priya said pushing Deepika outside her room. They both went down and saw almost every close relative of Priya. Starting from her mother's cousins and their children to their children. Actually, her mother doesn't have any siblings. She only has cousins. But Priya is pretty close with her distant cousins.
Shantima was busy preparing food in the kitchen. Both Priya and Deepika entered shouting Shantima...
