A/N: somethings in these movies are going to be different considering that by the time Harry was 11 he already knew about magic because of his sister. I will probably add flashbacks to when she got her letter but until she was 11 they only knew a little about the magical world because she had a eidetic memory and she was a werewolf. I don't mind constructive criticism but please be nice.
Everybody watched anxiously as the movie was placed in the DVD player.
A soft melody begins to play as the screen fades from black, a sign saying Privet Drive is seen.
Lilly looks like she is trying to figure something out," Privet Drive, why does that sound familiar... wait isn't that where Petunia is moving with her wretched fiancé. " At this statement James looked utterly perplexed ," why would your sister have anything to do with our future? " the girl gave a shrug in response.
Dumbledore is seen walking down the street Privet Drive , A tabby cat is also shown.
"Professor Dumbledore " most people said confused, while the Marauders shouted "MINNIE!" The first years who didn't know of their transfiguration teacher's animagus All stared at the four friends dumbfounded.
Dumbledore took out a device clicking it, the light from a nearby street lamp went out. He clicked it multiple times until the only light left came from the moon.
The Prewett twins stared in awe of the device before saying " cool, I want one" simultaneously. The Marauders chuckled, most of the Hogwarts staff and students staying "NO!"
The same cat from earlier meowed, Dumbledore said without even looking over," I should've known you would be here Professor McGonagle." The cat then transformed into the very recognizable Minerva McGonagle .
The first years stared in awe while watching her transform, everyone else smiled warmly, some were clapping.
She then walked up to Dumbledore and said " Evening Professor Dumbledore"
Said man began to walk beside her. "Are the rumors true Albus " McGonagle asked " I'm afraid so Professor, the good and the bad"
"What rumors?" Remus , Sirius and James asked, everyone else was either trying to figure it out or didn't care.
"And the children?" McGonagle asked " Hagrid is bringing them " Dumbledore replied while McGonagle kept looking at him." Do you think it's wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this " Dumbledore looked at her with a twinkle in his eyes" ah Professor I would trust Hagrid with my life."
Hagrid smiled brightly at this, "thank you Professor." Everyone was excited to find out who their professors were talking about"
The Music picks up as the sound of an engine Is heard, The professors look up to see Hagrid on a flying motorbike.
"Cool " everyone says
The motorbike lands, Hagrid then says "Professor Dumbledore sir, Professor McGonagle" As he takes off his goggles and proceeds to get off the bike "no problems I trust Hagrid" Dumbledore says ."No sir little tykes fell sleep just as we were flying over Bristol" Hagrid responds.
Around The hall many people had questions about who Hagrid was talking about but none more than the marauders.
" try not to wake them"!Hagrid said before handing over a bundle of blankets containing a baby boy to Professor Dumbledore and then going over to his motorbike and lifting up a girl that looked to be about four years old and handing her to Professor McGonagle
"Little kids" Marlene asks " why would you have a couple of little kids" she continues. " I don't know Miss McKinnon this hasn't happened yet remember this is the future dear girl" Dumbledore answered her.
Professor McGonagle looked at the sleeping girl in her arms as she began to stir from her Slumber, Her eyes open revealing hazel blue eyes. She yawned and lifted her head up looking around fearfully " Remmy" she asked, her eyes desperately searching for any sign of the man.
The Marauders and their friends all turn to Remus. "What" He asks seeing his friends stares " The little girls probably not talking about me there are other Remus 's in the world"
McGonagle looked at the girl in sympathy "sweet girl I'm sorry but Mr. Lupin isn't here we are here to drop you off at your aunt and uncle's" McGonagle says "so it wasn't a dream mummy and daddy are gone?" The young girl asked "I'm afraid so little one" Dumbledore said while looking at her sadly
By this time everyone had turned to Remus who looked thoroughly embarrassed by all the stares.
The Little girl had tears rolling down her cheeks as she began to cry,McGonagle carefully soothed her until she fell asleep on the woman's shoulder. The professor then turned back to Dumbledore "do you really think it's wise leaving them with these people, I've watched them all day their the worst sort of Muggles imaginable, they really are" she was cut off by Dumbledore "the only family they have"Minerva still looked extremely against the idea of leaving them there " these children will be famous they won't be a child in our world who doesn't know their names" she said trying to persuade Dumbledore into taking them somewhere else "their far better off growing up away from all of that... until they're ready"
"You are leaving two magical children with Muggles" The purebloods asked outraged.
Many other people just looked confused.
Hagrid teared up almost crying, Dumbledore saw this and said "there there Hagrid it's not really goodbye after all" Hagrid nodded and wiped his eyes.
The professors then set the two children on the doorstep McGonagall conjured up extra blankets for the little girl to keep her warm. " good luck... Harry and Rosalind Potter"
"What!" Was heard throughout the Great Hall
