The campsite was perfect. It had 10 tents with a fire in the middle. At the beginning of the campsite were 3 cars and motorcycle and at the very end of the campsite there was a RV. I watched everyone work as the boy started to yell "Mom." The mom walked over to the boy and started to hug him. "Who is this little girl Carl?" "Oh this is." He gestured me to say my name. "I am Ashton." The mom of the child took him to a tent. That gave me a nervous feeling, I crossed my fingers behind my back. As everyone was passing by me they stare at me and just kept walking. The mother came back. "Ashton, do you have a family?" I shook my head no trying not to cry. "How old are you?" "14" I said trying to sound as mature as possible. "Well Ashton, I don't know if this is officials yet but I will talk to my husband and see if you can stay with us." I smiled "Thanks." "By the way I'm Carl" the boy said. He gestured me to the fire "I'll show you around." We started to walk to the tents. He pointed at one tent. "That is Sofia's family tent, watch out for her father." He whispered to me. Then he pointed at the next tent. "That is Amy's and Andrea tent, there pretty cool." We got to the RV. "That is where Dale usually stays." After we walked past the RV we ended up at the woods "and through there is where Daryl sleeps." We started to walk back to the fire until a tall man walked up to me. "Hi Ashton." He took my hand and kneeled down. "Where you from Ashton" "England." "Wow how come so far away." "Well." I started to begin. "We moved when the zombie virus outbreak happened me and my dad thought it would be better to come to America and we would have less of a chance to become infected." I slowly stopped talking. "Oh I see, where's your father?" He said curious. "He..got bit." I said trying not to sound desperate. "Well, you are happy to stay with us, we have an extra tent." "Thank you" I said pleased. "I'm Rick and this is my wife Lori." He pointed to his wife. I smiled "Nice to meet you"
