No longer beautiful

Tears through the ages

Lumina laid back on the ground to the side while gently grasping the red and orange leaves which she found scattered on the ground.

"I really do grow up like these leaves huh? Hmm that sounds kind of basic but I think I finally get what growing up feels like". Lumina switched positions from lying on her side to the back.

"Kissing? Hmm...I used to wish of kissing a young price but nowadays it just seems...well it just doesn't seem the same. They say kissing should be all about pulling rather then a peck on the lips but I just..." tears come running down decorating her soft pink tinted cheeks. "I just wanted my kiss to be different."

Hours pass by as the young girl thinks to herself about how she wishes things could be different. By this time the sun became cold and harsh. The shadows became more vivid. And the birds sang their final song.

"Miss?...miss?".

A voice from a young man came from the direction of the large oak trees.

As Lumina lifts up her weak body she sees a tall man standing there with mildly wavy short  dark brown hair and piercing brown eyes.

"Ye...yes?". She asks as she stutters the most basic response which can be given.

"Are you alright? You seemed to be lost in your thoughts which I mean isn't bad or anything but well judging by the time doesn't a beautiful lady like you need to be back at home. I mean this place is quite far away from the main city centre.

The young girl looks at him with an emotionless look. She doesn't get embrassed by having the tall young man calling her beautiful. All she can think of is how the world which she ones loved turned about to not be as pretty as it once was.

"Oh...yeah. I should go back"

Silence took as they gazed into each others eyes. Sorrow filled the man as he looked into her teary eyes.

"I guess you are the same as me. You are no longer human miss."

Those words piecred the girls thought process. It was almost like she heard this before.
