His breath stopped as he sat next to him. Erik. The other Erik. Erik Marten kept looking at his math notebook, but his mind was no longer on math. It was on him. The one he had always had a crush on ever since the first grade. But Erik Marten was homophobic. He had to be. Otherwise no one would've thought he was cool. Otherwise Erik wouldn't have thought he was cool. That was all Erik Marten cared about. If Erik would've been the only person who liked him in the whole world Erik Marten would've still been happy.
His thoughts were interrupted by the class starting. During the class Erik Marten got talking with Erik and really enjoyed it. It felt like he was in heaven. Erik was funny, cute and like some tiktokers would say, Erik Marten knew Erik was his baka🥺🤞. The class was flying by when he talked to him. His heart skipped a beat when he heard the words that would ruin his day.
"You two are talking too much! Erik Marten move next to Hendrik!" The teacher said loudly. Erik Marten was about to argue but realized it would make him sus. So he just took his things and with a fake smile walked across the classroom. As he sat down he felt someone stare at him. It was Hendrik. Erik Marten looked at him. Hendrik just said: "I know how you feel." and turned back to his work. Erik Marten was confused, but he didn't have a lot of time to think about it because the bell rang.
Walking home felt like dancing for Erik Marten. It was the first time Erik had talked to him about something that wasn't about homework or how much they both hated their lives. (#broken) He also thought about what Hendrik had said. "I know how you feel." What had he meant by that? Oh no. Erik Marten realized. Could he know his secret? No. No. Erik Marten calmed himself. It's not possible. Erik Marten had been very careful. If he knew his life was over. If he knew... Erik Marten didn't even want to think about that so he went back to thinking about the love of his life. ❤️Erik❤️
