"Jay hyung!" A familiar voice called out- one that was so familiar that Jay would probably still know it was Jungwon even after putting a crap ton of auto tune over it. "Where are you?"

"Bedroom, why?" He replied, refusing to believe that his ears were feeling a little warm after hearing how the younger slurred the letter J in his name- making it sound more like a 'Z'.

It was cute.
Well, he was always cute.

Jungwon's voice was filled with excitement, "I wanna show you something! Wait- let me get it!" he exclaimed.

"What is it?"

"Just wait a second! God!" Jungwon teased. "So impatient."

"Yah!" Jay shouted, immediately rolling his eyes at how soft his voice sounds despite it being a 'shout'. He was a total softie- and maybe the other members would beg to differ, claiming that he was only a softie for their cute leader.

Could you blame him though? Park Jongseong was born with a functioning set of eyes, ones that could clearly see. Though, there are times when Jay wonders if he has a filter over them, but it seems unlikely because if he did; a lot of things in his life would look better- because there were still a lot of stuff he dreaded, and a lot that he wished didn't exist.

Though he still can't help but wonder if maybe he has a sickness of some sort, which is again something unlikely, because deep inside- he knows why life looks a little brighter when he's with a certain someone.

"Look! Watch!" The said certain someone was now rushing towards him, almost tripping over Ni-Ki's clothes that were strewn all over the bedroom floor. Jay immediately made a mental note to reprimand the maknae about it.

"Be careful, idiot." He muttered.

Jungwon rolled his eyes, already used to the elder's choice of words. "Anyways, as I was saying; LOOK!" He then held out a card, a queen of hearts, between his fingers.

"I'm looking Jungwon-ah," Jongseong assured him, chuckling fondly.

"Okay, just keep looking."

"Sure."

He then flicked the other end of the card- and all of a sudden, a different one was in his hands; this time it was the Joker.

Jay was surprised, mouth slightly ajar. "Oh wait- what?"

The prettiest laugh he's ever heard suddenly surrounded the room, leaving no space for any other sound. It flooded the elder's senses- almost drowning out his thundering heartbeat.

Only almost. Because was always far too aware at how his heart performed literal gymnastics every time he was at close proximity with the younger.

"Taehyun sunbae taught me," Jungwon explained. "Isn't it cool?"

"Hmm," Jay hummed, wanting to tease the younger. To which he was immediately given a glare for, for even reconsidering to say anything other than a 'yes'.

"Aright, Alright," He laughed, reaching out to grab Jungwon's wrist to pull him closer. "It was indeed very cool Jungwon-ah, you should reconsider shifting to a different profession, maybe performing in kids' parties is your true calling."

"I don't think so," The younger cringed. "They'll probably mistake me as one of the kids."

The answer only made Jongseong laugh a little louder as he imagined their leader in an oversized clown suit with matching red shoes and a red nose. He really would look like a kid. "I'd pay to see that happen to you, oh my god." He wheezed, wiping away the tears from his eyes.
