one step closer

Drishti POV

I open my eyes when alarm Start ringing. I forward my hand toward table and off the alarm. I take off the blanket from me and roll on my bed for few seconds then I get up and stretched my arms and yawned.

I got up from bed and go near cupboard. I start selecting dresses. After rejecting lots of dresses finally I pick one knee length dresses. I take that and go to take long cold shower. After 30min I came out wrapping towel around my body, I sit on chair infront of mirror. I take my strawberry flavour cream and apply on my hands,legs, back,  neck and everywhere. Then I slip in into my dress and tied my hair in messy bun and go downstairs.

I directly go in kitchen where my nani was doing something.

"Good Morning Nani" I said.

"Good Morning beta" she said.

"What are you doing?" I asked and sat on slab.

"Beta, tomorrow I am going back so I thought to prepare gajar ka halwa for you. I kept in fridge so you can eat whenever you want" she said.

"Nani no need of that..but why are you going tomorrow please stay for few more days" I said.

"Beta, you know that I have to attend my school also" she said and I nodded.

"Okay but come again" I said.

"Noo, now I will come Only in your wedding" she said.

"Nani or agar mei shadi nhi karungi tih aap nhi aaoge" I said.

"Aisa nhi hoga" she said caressed my cheeks. I sighed and take chapatti and dal to eat.

After eating we both sit in living room and I talk with her about my work and upcoming competition and she also told me find someone for me. I just nodded. After an hour

"Acha nani I have to go somewhere so I am going to get ready" I said and she nodded.

I came in my room and do my hair. I put only lip balm on my lips & eye liner and mascara nothing else. I take my purse and put money, my cards, my earphone, my car keys, my lip balm, few chocolates and at last my mobile. I wear my sneakers and look at myself in mirror atlast time and with a smile I come out from my house and take my car and I called him.

"Hlo" I said.

"Hii!" He said coldly.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Sorry, actually i am not able to come today" he said and I stop.

"Hey! Are you there?" He asked and my trance broken amd my heart also. Tears Start brimming in my eyes.

"Y..eah I.. I am here. It's ok. B..byy" I said and going to cut the call when he stop.

"Hey, hey!! Please don't be sad. I was joking. Sorry! Sorry!!" He said and tears fell from my eyes.

"I am coming on beach you came then I will show you. Mere saath mazak karne pe kya hota hai" I said and cut the call.

I furiously drive to beach. I am so happy but I am angry on him. How dare he? After 30 minutes I reached at beach. I park my car in parking area and go toward beach and looking for him. When suddenly someone pat on my left shoulder I turn but there is no one, again someone tap on my right shoulder but I turn left and here it was rakshit. I glare him.

"Huhh!! Smart" he said.

"How dare you?" I said and slap on his arm.

"Ouch" he whined.
