When I was little me and my younger twin sister Osamu, would be playing together during recess. It was the same today except for the fact that many people seemed to only be interested in Osamu. I brushed it off thinking it was because she did her hair different from mine today, that wasn't the case. I wished this day never happened.
-
"Osamu I love what you did with your hair today!"
"You're really pretty!"
Those were most of the compliments she had gotten that day, of course she didn't care though as she didn't know any of them. Atsumu on the other hand didn't get any compliments, I mean, they look exactly alike!
As Atsumu was in a bad mood from the events of today, she decided to just ignore them for now.
During recess her and Osamu were on the swings like usual, but many people kept on staring at Osamu. Osamu felt uncomfortable on what was happening and wanted to go home. Atsumu noticed this, got off the swing, and grabbed Osamu taking her away from all the eyes.
She made it inside and went to the bathroom with her.
"Osamu are you alright?" Atsumu asked.
"Yeah..."
"Maybe it's because you did your hair differently? We always have the same hairstyle that's why."
"Maybe?"
Suddenly the door opened and in came a crowd of girls surrounding Osamu. Atsumu was pushed down to the floor as Osamu was taken away by the group of chattering girls.
Atsumu just sat there waiting for Osamu or at least someone to come back and help her, but nobody came. Tears started to form in the corners of her eyes as she bursted into tears. She was so confused on why everyone was only paying attention to Osamu all of a sudden.
After the recess bell rang, Atsumu just sat there crying silently.
"Atsumu?!" A teacher yelled coming in.
"Oh dear! What happened?!" She said as she tried to comfort the toddler.
"A g-group of girls came in a-and pushed me down..." she sniffled out.
The teacher looked at her with pity and sat there with Atsumu for a while. After a few minutes she picked up Atsumu and headed for the classroom.
When she walked in the class stared at the two with confused looks.
"Who pushed Atsumu in the bathroom floor?!" The teacher asked.
A group of girls who were surrounding Osamu started acting like they didn't know anything about it. The teacher sighed and turned to Atsumu, "can you point to who dear?"
Atsumu nodded and pointed to the group of girls.
The teacher put Atsumu down and started to scold them about what they had done. The girls seemed to glare daggers at Atsumu with rage. Osamu for some reason felt mad at her sister too, as she finally made some friends but Atsumu had to ruin it.

Later that day...
"Osamu!" Atsumu yelled as she ran after her sister.
Osamu rolled her eyes and went inside the car without looking back. Atsumu was confused on why her younger sister was acting like this, as she didn't do anything wrong.
Atsumu got inside the car and was yelled at by her mother for making Osamu lose friends.
"B-but mommy! They pushed me..." Atsumu said.
Her mom groaned and said it was probably just an accident, and that she was just being dramatic like always.
Atsumu felt guilty.
-
She had gotten another earful from her father and was sent up to her and Osamu's room. She cried as she ran up the stairs.
She laid in bed as she cried her self to sleep silently.

Osamu after that incident barely talked to Atsumu after. The two often bickered with each other over the littlest things, such as clothes, makeup, and etc. The one thing they both agreed on liking was Volleyball. Both had made it on the team in middle school but their experiences were completely different. Osamu was treated equally among the others while Atsumu was treated like dirt. Why was everyone becoming so cruel all of a sudden. She was tired of being compared to Osamu so she dyed her hair blonde, but the Osamu dyed hers grey and was showered with compliments.
-
9 years later..
"Fucking hell..." Atsumu said as she woke up from her alarm clock.
Her and Osamu had gotten their own rooms a few years back due to many reasons.
She groaned and dreaded even getting up but nonetheless she got up and went to the bathroom. Today was the day her school's volleyball team had a practice match with Itachiyama Institute. They were big shots in Japan or so she heard.
Atsumu became a manager her 1st year of highschool because "she wasn't good enough for the volleyball team." And of course, her sister Osamu is the captain of the girls volleyball team.
-
She was finished getting ready as she started to head downstairs, when "ATSUMU MIYA!"
"Dammit..!" She whispered to herself.
