Harry P.O.V

"Boys how was school today?" My mom asked smiling as she placed spaghetti down on our empty plates, along with the sauce and meatballs. Kaden answered first.

"It was good, I'm thinking about trying out for soccer, or lacrosse. Maybe both." Kaden shrugged smiling. He was always the outgoing one of us which really pissed me off, because anything I do will never be as good as him.

My dad smiled proudly before turning to me, with his smile fading slightly, not looking at me with the once admiration he held in his eyes.

"What about you son? Joining any school activities?" He asked with everyone turning to me.

"Nothing much. I'm just keeping an open mind right now." I replied picking at my food.

My dad nodded along with rest of my family. "Well maybe you guys could both do soccer together, spend some bonding time together. I could even hire someone to train you guys." He smiled.

"Yeah that would be fun for you two right?" My mum nodded in agreement with dad. Kaden nodded happily, while I forced a smile.

"That'd be great but I'm not sure Harry could keep up with my awesomeness." Kaden joked with a hint of rivalry to his words.

I rolled my eyes. "Shut up you dimwit!"

"Oh but you know it's true." He replied back. Just as I was about to speak my dad cut me off. "Save that for the field boys. Right now we have to eat. Did you guys finish your homework?" My dad asked changing the subject.

"Half way through." I mutter. My brother smirked.

"Mines done and Gyles checked it." He said trying to show off.

"It's 'mine' you dimwit." I corrected him. He rolled his eyes.

"Alright well Harry when you're done eating you can finish it. And tomorrow the Alvarez Family invited us for dinner, and they also have a party we must attend to on Thursday." My mom said cheerfully.

I groaned lucky that no one noticed- well except for Kaden of course. He gave me a curious look and I knew he was gonna ask me about it later.

Why does my life have to be some messed up?

"So was that 'bout?" Kaden asked standing by my doorway. Since I had nothing better to do I was writing on my second page on my 5 page essay. It was quite easy and you had to really understand the characters emotions in the novel.

"Don't you know how to knock." I mutter, but I couldn't stop the yawn that evoked from my mouth.

"I'm surprised you didn't here the door open." Kaden stated smirking. I rolled my eyes. "What do you want?" I asked not in the mood.

"What was that at dinner. I thought you'd be happy to see your little boyfriend." My little brother said chuckling.

"That's none of you bisnuess, and if that's all you needed, leave."

"Whatever dude, anyways dad was serious about the training thing, and he said he would take us out the the field, Saturday." Kaden added. I nodded turning back around in my chair dismissing him.

"Rude." I heard he mutter before turning around to leave. I sighed getting back to work while chewing back on the end of my pen, something I did to think better.

It was time to go the dinner with the Alvarez Family, something I had been dreading all night. Travis literally chased me around the school so he could talk to me, probably finding the dinner as a reason to do so.
