Gloomy yet not alone. A cabin sits in the middle of rotten trees that are centuries old, the house itself was no better. Creak after creak, squeak after squeak, a man sits on an old broken rocking chair. Pipe in the mouth and a bottle of brandy in the left hand. Waiting. Anticipating. Thinking. Yet he doesn't know for what, only for you to emerge from the dark forest. Arriving with no one else but yourself, you slowly make your way towards the old man that somehow anticipated your arrival.
As you step forwards, nothing can be heard but the slow crackling of the branches as you walk. As you near the cabin, you stop. Silence befalls the heavy yet rich air, the trees blocking the moonlight. The old man spoke:" You came to the wrong place." You start to hear this distorted voice or sound you were unable to tell. "Rap Tap Tap" each word getting louder.
Suddenly you are unable to hear your surroundings. Panicking, you look around, only to realise the old man has disappeared from the creaking chair. Walking forwards towards the cabin you could no longer hear the sound of the howling wind rushing through the leaves of the trees, no longer the breaking of fallen branches.
Nearing the rotten door, you grasp the bronze handle. Left, right, left, right. Nothing. You keep looking around seeing your surroundings, anxiously opening the door. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH" a high pitched demonic screech comes from the left side almost sounding as if it was inhaled. Wasting no time, you rush in the door into absolute darkness. "Click, Click, Click" hearing the sound you see the candles lighting themselves. Dim, rotten hallway much larger than the cabin itself, rugged red carpet stained with what looks like old blood. "AHHHHHHHHHH" there's the screech again, this time right behind your right ear. Frozen, can't move, standing there in place, too scared to anxious to even breath.
