The sun rays that pass throught my windows woke me up.

When I look at my phone. My alarm had already went off and was snooze to the point that the alarm stopped.

god damnit. I'm late. It's already past 12 pm. I'm late for my school. Teacher's going to punish me. If I rush now I'll still make it to the 3rd period.

"Mom!!" "Mom!!" "Why didn't you woke me up?" No reply.

"Mom, I'll be down in 5 mins please get me something to eat I'll eat it on my way to school". No reply again.

I was fixing my Hair looking at the mirror. Thats when my eyes went on Rayon's side of the room. That's when I remembered.

"Oh!" I said loudly. I clinch the comb in my hands so hardly. I nearly broke it.
But instead I threw it on his bed.

How could he? Being the eldest. Where are his morals now?

"Xezon, we are family. We will got into a fight that doesn't means ill stop caring about you. I'll never do anything that would hurt mom, dad or you, I would never do that" rayon once said when I got bulled by his friends. He came to my rescue.

Went down stares to find a note on the fridge.

"Dinner's in the fridge. Eat it after you warm it up. Stay inside don't open the door for strangers. No need to go to school for few days. We are going to report a file at the police station. Love mom"

Being the foodie kid of the house. I never said no to food.

"I'll return all your money with interest I promise. To.. tomorrow me and the girl's family will repot a file at the police station and they will catch my son." Said my dad.

These guys must be the loan shark my dad was talking about earlier.

"Hmm! Is that so?"
He points the gun towards me and says.

"Why don't you just ask this little guy"

My eyes went wide open when I saw the gun.

I screamed "No No No please don't kill us I don't know where my brother is. If I did I would have told you."

"Dad mom I really don't know where rayon is trust me."

" Let my son go. He is very small. He doesn't knows anything about this." Mom spoked for the first time, gaining everyone's attention.

Unlike dad and me she was very calm.

"Killing us will not return your money to you. Let us go and as soon as we know about our elder son we will let you know"

"And how do I believe you?" Said the loan shark.

" I promise you. If we cannot repay your loan. We will give you our house and some land that is on xezon's father's name".

The loan shark laughed very hardly.
"You dumb women. How much loan do you think your husband took from me?"

"This house and all the lands you are talking about will not even cover 5 Percent of the loan."

My mom looks at my dad.
He couldn't met her eyes.

"Honey what is this man saying? You told me 50% of the loan was already paid."

Dad didn't say a word. Keeping his eyes at the ground all the time.

"He said that 50% was already paid?"
All there men laugh at that.

"I was saving the money and I had already collected the amount. But in a hope to double it. I went to Casino."

"My luck wasn't with me so I kept on loosing"

"And I spend a couple thousands on drinks. So the amount I could save after that was 20 lakhs."

"But before I could give it to them rayon took it and ran."

"Im feeling disgusted. Will you ever stop drinking?" Said my mom.

Maybe looking at our situation the loan shark pity on us. So he let us go this once.

"Okey! So let's make a deal if you could pay us the first installment by the end of this week we'll let it slide."

Saying that much all three men left our house.

By the time I went to bed. It was 5 in the morning.

I hear a knock at my door.

I peak through the peak hole. There was no one.
So I ignore it.

Then there was another knock at the door. This time I directly open the door.

There was a letter that read.

I read the word a couple of time for it to proceed in my head.

"Read it when you are all alone". It said

"First of all I'm very sorry for the trouble I created for our family. We had to take this step. Our family would neve have accpet this."

What would have been the reason for such a big step I read the message in a hurry.

I continue reading it.

"You read it right. No you don't need glasses. It's true ciya is pregnant. Our kid is 3 months old now."

"We will be back after a year. By then everyone's anger will cool off. And after looking at our kid they will understand."

My phone buzz in my pocket.

It's a text from my mom.

"We will be back in 5 mins."

I stare at both the messages.
Not knowing what to do next. I hide Rayon's message at my secret hiding spot where I hide every thing that fits.
