ARIANA'S POV

My phone rang, it was Justin. I picked it up.

"Hey Justin"

"Hey cutie, for our date why don't we go to Dave & Busters?" Justin asked.

Wow. "Um Justin, isn't that a place for like 7 year old's?" I asked confusingly.

"It will be fun I swear, you'll see"

"Oh alright!" I said.

--phone call ended--

This better be good because it's gonna be awkward being at a place for small kids.

[2 hours later-I got dressed and ready]

It's 8, I was waiting for Justin to pick me up. The door bell rang.

I went up to the door and opended it. Wait a second, I looked out the window and it was JAI, my ex. I-I didn't know what to do, Justin was gonna be there any second and Jai was there, they might get into a fight, I'm nervous.

I opended the door.

"Listen Jai, I can't talk now, I have somewhere to go" I said.

"But we have to talk-" Jai said before he got cut off.

This is awkward, I don't know what to do, Justin got here.

"Who are you?" Justin asked Jai.

Before Jai could answer I needed to explain before they fight or something bad, "Jai, well Justin came here to pick me up, we're going on a date because I have moved on. You really hurt me when you cheated on me and I-I don't wanna talk about it, please just go."

"But-"

"GO JAI, I SAID GO" I said madly.

Jai left.

"Let's go Justin" I said.

I got into Justin's car, after 10 minutes we got there, it felt weird though because it was a place for kids.

Justin told the lady that was working there "I'd like a private booth for the two of us and make sure it's dark"

Why would he want a private booth and it to be dark, I'm so confused.

We got in the private booth, we ordered food.

"So aren't you excited for the song we're writing together?" I asked Justin.

"Oh let's not talk about work tonight"

"Oh alright" I said.

I noticed Justin was leaning in closer, what was he trying to do?

I noticed Justin started leaning in for a kiss, I got nervous, "Listen Justin, I like you, I really do, but I don't know you that well and I'm not ready to kiss you, I'm sorry" I had to say.

Justin was surprised yet confused, "oh alright, I'm so sorry I did that"

"It's fine, why did you pick here out of all places for our date?" I asked.

"Because it's fun, we can play games later and eat fun food"

"But why did we get a private booth & why'd you ask for it to be dark?" I asked.

"I was planning on kiss you and I thought it be better to do it when it's dark because I get shy" Justin replied.

"Oh okay, I understand".

"Do you wanna go play some games now?" Justin asked. "Of course!" I said happily.

I asked him to win me something, he played one of the games and got enough tickets so I could trade it for a pillow that's heart shaped... he's so cute.

"Thank you for the prize" I said to him with a smile.

"Anytime" Justin said.

--got in his car so he can bring me home--

This was great, he's such a sweetheart and I'm glad he took me on a date.

I realized since we were both in the front Justin might try to kiss me but you know I'm totally fine with that now.

Justin leaned in, I leaned in too, then we both leaned in and we started kissing, then one of our phones rang during that split second we were kissing. Ugh, I wish the kiss lasted longer.

We were on my driveway, it was time for me to go.
"I really had a great time, thank you" I said.

"No problem, I'll call you later" Justin said back.
