Xiali's POV...
I didn't have time to think about anything other than hopping inside the car and closing the door to escape the creepy stalker. The guy on the driver's seat hit the gas and rushes off out of the scene, leaving the creepy stalker standing near the dumpling shop alone.
"Ok, can you at least tell me why the hell did you know I was here?" I ask the guy with curiousity.
"Aren't you suppose to be a little happy that I saved you from a possible criminal?" he says with a chill tone as he keeps his vision on the road.
I sigh at the thought of his statement being right. Yes, I should be happy that this guy actually came at the right time to save me from that creepy stalker.
"I'm sorry. I should have thanked you for letting me in your car. Thank you for saving me, Ten," I say as I feel quite embarrassed.
"Hey! Don't sweat it. I'm glad that I was able to save you on time," says Ten.
I take a glance at him who is still focus on the road. I'm still wondering how did he knew where I was at this time, but I thought about talking about it later. I'm literally so tired from all the running.
"By the way, would you mind to join me for dinner and some drinks?" says Ten.
I thought about his offer for a moment. Well, I am kind of hungry, and I guess having some drinks with this guy won't hurt. Besides, I do need a drink right now to chill my mind from the whole stalker thing.
"Sure," I say.
"Cool. We'll arrive at my favorite spot soon," Ten says.
At Yue Liang Cafe...
We arrive at a small yet cozy cafe. The place isn't too loud, which I felt comfortable since I'm not really into loud places. Ten and I take a seat as the waitress approach us to take our orders.
"I'll have one pork noodle and a glass of white wine," Ten says.
"One pork noodle and a glass of white wine. And how about you, Miss?" the waitress ask.
"I'll have a bowl of pork soup and a glass of water," I tell the waitress.
"One bowl of pork soup and a glass of water," says the waitress as she puts her note away. "We'll be back with your order soon." The waitress starts walking back to the kitchen.
"So...you're not drinking tonight?" ask Ten as he raise one of his eyebrows at me.
"Nope. I have to go to college tomorrow morning. I wouldn't want to wake up with a bad hangover," I say.
Ten gives me a small smirk as he stares into my eyes. "Just a little drink won't give a bad hangover," he says. "I don't really want to be lonely AND drunk tonight, but I guess getting drunk is a lot more fun with a friend, am I right?" he says with a small flirty smile. Did he just try to flirt me?
I roll my eyes though I could feel my cheeks blushing a deep shade of red. He lets out a small laugh at he stares at me. Come to think of it, he does have a point that a little drink won't give a bad hangover, and I really do want to have a drink tonight. I guess it won't hurt to have a little drink. The waitress soon comes out with our drinks.
"Thank you. Oh, and I would like to order a bottle of red wine," says Ten as the waitress serves us our drinks.
"One bottle of red wine coming up, Sir!" says the waitress.
Ten turns his head to face me with a smile. I start to get mesmerize by his charming smile. The waitress soon comes back with a bottle of red wine and two empty glasses. The waitress opens the bottle and pours the red wine into the two glasses.
