If not months but years it felt like, She had followed the woman for days and at long last her patience was paying off.

"So it was true..." Her voice wavering, almost like a whimper as she watched the man she once loved kiss that wretched woman she had been following.

She wanted her life and now she had it, her husband, her house, everything was taken by the green eyed beauty flirting and kissing her husband boldly.

"I..I thought you said you loved me but I now know that was only a charade.." She said to no one in particular, her voice slightly cracking after every word she spoke; tears pricked the corners of her eyes as if saying to let them out. Despite all this a huge weight felt like it was lifted off her shoulders.

It was not tears of sadness she was shedding but ones of immense joy, "I can finally leave this loveless lie of a marriage and go on about my life with that woman as an excuse. That woman saved me from a trip to a hitman's agency."
