It's Friday... The last day in this stupid classroom. You're secretly drawing in your math notebook while the teacher, is on their phone playing some shit like candy crush or whatever people play when they're over thirty. You've been stuck in here ever since you sprained Clementine's ankle. You haven't seen her since that one time you spoke to each other. You did see Ms. Martin Though... She says she's on crutches now and her ankle will heal over time. It's scary how you can contort your body the wrong way and you're possibly, temporarily handicapped. You couldn't stop thinking about what you did to Clementine. She's suffering because you didn't know how to simply watch where you were going.
You didn't even wanna get started on Joan. She knew she messed up big time after finding out about your parents but she couldn't even muster up an apology after rubbing them in your face when she's supposed to know these things. She shouldn't even be working jobs revolved around kids. Couldnt've been slightly considerate at all for one who couldn't stand up properly. You'd think she'd show some type of remorse for a kid who's parents were taken away from him so soon. It's honestly no suprise to you, but in a way, you never cared about what she'd think anyway. You couldn't stop thinking about it though. You miss your parents and you're not sure how you feel about where you are at now.
You stare at the blank sheet of notebook paper in front of you, not sure what to do now. The in-school-suspension teacher is just doing her thing while two other kids up front are chatting up a storm about Spiderman or Batman winning a fight. You chuckle to yourself. Those kids came two days ago because they were pantsing each other or something like that.
BANG BANG BANG
There was someone banging on the door that shut the kids up and made the teacher quickly put away her phone
"Pfft, sounds like Joan." You thought.
The door opens and two people walk in.
Joan: Hello kids.
She smiles to the kids up front and doesn't acknowledge you at all in the back.
"Shut up," You shake your head.
You notice a kid beside her. He's a skinny guy, your age and you're pretty sure he's in your class. You never really acknowledged him until looking at him
ISS Teacher: Oh, uh, Mrs. Joan! What brings you here?
She puts her hand on the kid's shoulder and looks at her.
Joan: We've got a mouthy one here. Think you can take him for the day? He can't behave in class.
ISS Teacher: Um, Of course, of course. You can count on me, Mrs. Joan.
Joan rolls her eyes in annoyance.
Joan: If I couldn't, you'd be fired.
Joan turns around and leaves the room. As soon as everyone heard the door closed, everyone lets out a sigh of relief at the same time. It was pretty funny because it shows how truly unliked the lady is.
ISS Teacher: Just take a seat wherever you'd like.
The kid puts on a smile.
Kid: Thanks teach! Don't mind if I do.
The kid looks around and notices you in the back. He smirks and walks over to your area and sat down on your left. He looks at you for quite a bit with a smile which makes you raise an eyebrow.
Kid: So you're the kid who Gabriel Garcia has a problem with?
You scoff.
You: I guess, I don't know. I'm not on much of anyone's good side yet.
