The idea bursted into my mind. This is going to be the best graduation prank yet! Lying on my bed, twirling my blonde curls, I dm Joan on Instagram . They've been my crush since middle school and my pansexual awakening. Only, I'm waiting for the perfect moment to come out to them and my friends. I hope they're willing to join me and the rest of the squad in this once in a lifetime adventure before we head off to college next fall.
"Hey Joan, I know this is sudden but would you like to help me with the prank we spoke about earlier?" - I
"Are you sure, it's very risky tbh- what if we get caught?" - J
"Oh you worry too much, c'mon - it'll be fun." -I
"I don't know about this Izzy, Fake blood in the bathroom and on the walls? Don't you think that's a bit extreme?" - J
"Don't worry I've thought this through. Cole's parents own a costume shop and we've got all the supplies prepared." - I
"Alright I trust you, let's do this x" -J
" I knew you'd come around :)" -I
Joan texted an 'x'. What is that supposed to mean? I'm certain it was just a typo, no biggie. Perhaps they meant it an a platonic manner? Yeah, I'm sure of it. Isabella, chill. They're not interested in you like that. Ugh I'm thinking too deep into this. I think it's time to let the gang know the plan is a-go.
Cole's POV-
I'm at the shop finishing up late for my parents, until, I get a notification.
"Prank is a-go"- I
Ugh.. I really hope we don't get caught, if we get caught it would ruin my reputation for.. FOREVER!
Oh no, what if it all goes wrong and I don't get accepted into RWS.
"I hope you thought this through, Izzy."
"When's it happening?"-C
"Tonight 2am."-I
"I can't make it, I really need to finish this painting"
"The art show's tomorrow" -M
"But this May be the only time we get to do it before graduation!"
"Is everyone else coming?"-I
"Count me in!"-C
"I have nothing better to do"- J
"Fine, but if we get caught I'm blaming it on Izzy"-P
"Haha, okay Percy" -I
I put my phone down and write a list of possible outcomes if we get caught.
I should try to get my mind off the thought. I guess I'll scroll on Instagram.
3 HOURS LATER
Cole glances at the watch on his arm. 'Oh crap.. I slept through the night! It's 1am! I need to pack my bag and head off to the school.' He says as he rushes around his room panicking
AT SCHOOL
Oh I'm early? It is only 1:45.
I see Percy and head towards him.
"Hey man! What're you doing?"
Percy stands there staring at cole.
"P-Percy? Hello?"
Percy slowly walks closer to cole whilst maintaining eye contact.
" DONT MAKE A F******G SOUND."-P
"W-wha-"
"I SAID DONT MAKE A SOUND.' Percy says with an anxious look on his face.
MRS IRIS IS HERE! I got here early so I decided I wander around school and take pics, yk, for instagram. AND I SAW HER. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH TROUBLE WE'LL GET IN IS SHE SEES US?"
They both glance at the hallway in front of them looking for Mrs Iris.
They see a tall dark figure in the depth of the shadows.
