Chapter 1: Out of the many

School...the least favorite place I wanna be right now.
Hi, I'm Ruth! And i'm just heading to school to meet my friends,
Today was suppose to be an ordinary school day, But i heard theres a new student in class. I cant wait to meet her,

                                         ----------At the school gate..----------
'Hi kareena!'
'Hello, ruth'
Kareena, One of my personal favorite friends (no offense) and kareena is usually the first to meet me. And ngl, Kareena is an amazing Gamer!
'Wheres the other two?' I asked. 'Hell if i know' she said, not looking up from her phone
I was about to ask a Question when Maxene popped up
'Sorry if im late at meeting you guys, i thought we will meet at the classroom and i-' she stopped, 'wheres Cid?' She asked with a curious face.
We both just shrugged in answer,
'Why would we even bother about her? I bet she is just somewhere in school, she wakes up early as usual..' I told them
They both nodded and we decided to go in school, cause its so frickin Hot
As we were walking through the hallway, we saw Cid getting books in the library
I Immediately called her, but he didnt hear me...so i shrugged and went to the classroom, and saw Chloe in the back seat listening to music.
We three went to sit beside Chloe, as we sat down, Cid came with stacks of books in her hands.
'Whats with the books?' Chloe asked, 'None of your business' Cid answered
Chloe rolled her eyes and went back listening to music.
As the other students sat in their places, Mr.Kim came in with a girl
The new student perhaps? I thought, she could be a nice friend, and better raise my reputation as well.
'Okay students, before we start our class i would like for you all to meet your new classmate Rhianna' Mr. kim pointed at the new girl
'Hello' She said 'I am Rhianna and im a transfer student here!'
Mr.kim Nodded and said 'Rhianna please sit beside ruth. Ruth please Raise your hand so Rhianna knows who you are' i was about to raise my hand, when one of my classmates joked 'But we know whos ruth already, they are the drama queen in acting!' Everybody laughed except me, and i was about to talk back when my friends gave me a death stare and i took a deep breath, and raise my hand like nothing happened.

As I walk to Ruth's table, Ruth gave me a friendly and polite hello.
'Im ruth, and welcome to our class!' She smiled at me, and i nodded at her and said 'hello ruth'
We both talked for awhile until Mr.Kim said 'Rhianna and ruth? Are you listening to the
Lesson or not?' All eyes were on us, and we just shake our head 'no sir..'
'Were sorry sir..'

       ----------------------------Time skip; At the cafeteria--------------------------

As we went to get a table, i saw Rhianna just getting her lunch, and i called to her
'Hey! Do you wanna sit with us?' I asked
'Well, if you guys dont mind?' She answered
And we all nodded, and sat,
As we ate, i introduced Rhianna to the others, but since the others werent listening...
'HEY WHY DONT YOU GUYS INTRODUCE YOURSELVES?' I shouted at them
Everyone gave me a deathstare except Maxene and gladly introduced herself to Rhianna
'Im Maxene, and i like Marvel' she smiled
Now I looked at Kareena, who sighed and without looking up, she said 'Im Kareena, and i like Genshin and dont disturb me'
'Im chloe and now shush'
Now i looked at Cid who completely ignores me, 'Hey Cid! Hey!' I keep talking to her until she got annoyed and said 'Im Cid and yeah' and went back to her book
As we all ate, i asked Rhianna 'So, what do you like?'
'Me? I like Shinee,Nct, a-' she was cutted off by Maxene
'You like NCT?????' Her eyes widen, and we all laughed
'Yes i do!'
'OMGOMGOMGOMG' Maxene keeps talking to Rhianna until lunch was over
--------------------------------Time skip; After school-----------------------------------
As i was leaving the classroom i saw The others in the library odd, they never go there except cid i thought
But as i try to open the door i saw it was locked huh? I tried again and again until Mr.Kim comes and asked me what am i doing
'I-i'm sorry sir, i was just trying to open the door, i will leave now'
'But why? Are you getting a book?'
'I-' i thought for a moment, and i could just tell him about my friends in there, probably got trapped i thought and nearly laughed about it.
As i told Mr.Kim, he was confused, 'Ruth, theres nobody there, see?'
'But sir-'
'Im sure your just tired, go home and rest, okay?' And with that, he walked away
As i look in the library window again, i notice they were gone odd... i shrugged and just went out and decided to tell The others about it, but as i walk i notice Cid walking to the library, i was about to tell her the library is closed, but as i walked..he managed to open it!
But that was locked i Immediately ran to her but i bumped Maxene by accident.
'Oh sorry Maxene, i didnt saw you, i was just gonna ask Cid how-' but i realise that maxene wasnt in front of me, she was blocks away! Am i hallucinating? As i saw Cid go out i immediately went to her and asked.
But she merely shrugged and said 'what do you mean? The door was always open'
'But Mr.Kim-'
'I'm sure its open, they wouldnt close it till every student left, wouldnt they? Now come, by the moment we are home, it will be the next day'
I nodded, and instantly remembered 'but Maxene-'
'What do you mean? Shes there at the gate already'
I looked and Cid was right! She was in the gate along with Kareena, chloe and Rhianna
They looked up and Maxene said 'we invited Rhianna to come with us,'
They nodded, and we all walked off.
Am i actually Hallucinating? I asked myself, everywhere i go, instead of humans, i can see rabbits bouncing here and there or lions roaring instead of humans talking, i can hear flowers singing. What is happening to me?
'Have you ever believed in Hallucinations turns to reality?'I asked,
'No, why?' Chloe answered
'Nothing...' i said 'but..can you tell me whats in the park over there?'
'Humans'
'Plants'
'A big fence'
Ridiculous 'have you seen any rabbits there? Or maybe something out of the ordinary?' I asked
They all shaked their heads 'no' but Cid tho came to me and whispered 'i know what you mean, ruth'
'What?'
'Your having Alice syndromes, they give you hallucinations in your mental state that makes you go mad! But your in healthy way yesterday, so i highly doubt you actually have them?' He told me,
'But if i do...'
'Then you wouldnt be at school'
I looked down and saw something odd, neither everyone's shadows were following each others movements...do shadows? Nah, i guess im just tired... i left the shadows and forget about it, but as far as we go, it gets more worse.
The buildings talked instead of humans, and my friends voices felt like they had no voice.
When i get home, i cant wait to get ro bed and sleep i thought

But as we get home a border stops us all
'Whats happening?' Kareena asked
'I dont know!' Rhianna screamed
'Something doesnt feel right..' cid said...
Ruth, calm down, maybe your just Hallucinating when you wake up, your in your room i thought
But i was completely wrong, a big portal took us all while we tried to run, it took us all. One by one
