Chaos -Bucky Barnes

Prologue

"Listen up people, we've got a big mission coming up. We need everyone ready. It'll take every last one of you." Fury starts while he walks into the briefing room packed with ten avengers looking up from their conversations. "It's different this time, they have more manpower, we believe they have been working on more enhanced like the twins." He gestures over to Wanda and Pietro who are both listening intently. "Wait, what do you mean? How we took the staff back and the gem that gave them powers is in Vision's head." Steve asks generally confused. "Somehow they are making enhanced, we believe they have about 4 individuals. The next stronger than the last. It won't be easy, but we can stop them." Fury says walking out with Hill to let the team talk. 

Steve looks at a tablet with all the information, then looks at his team. "Okay, it seems they are operating in Rome. We don't know much now so we will need to stake out for a while, I think it'll be better if we spilt into teams, four teams with two people one team with three people. Romanoff and Barton, Bucky and Sam, Wanda and Pietro, Thor and Bruce, Tony and Vision and me. Does that work for everyone?" Steve looks around, Bucky has a grumpy face like he always does when he has to work with Sam but won't complain because everyone likes their groups. 

"This mission will probably take a few months so take an hour to pack everything you need then everyone will meet up in the quinjet." Steve said before walking out of the room leaving everyone to collect their thoughts then get ready. Soon everyone left the room heading to their rooms to get packed. 

The twins went their separate ways to their own rooms, packing their whole closet since they had barely any clothes due to only living there for a few months. Clint and Natasha only packed few normal clothes, and the rest was weapons and their suits. They never needed much which was a good thing because Tony packed a lot.

After everyone was packed and settled for the long flight to Rome, "We have little information on the enhanced, but we do know for sure right now there are four, three boys one girl. We have first names as well, but we couldn't find anything else." Steve says to everyone to tell them the little details they have going into this mission. "The weakest is a boy named Skylar; the second weakest is a boy named Jack; the strongest boy is named Mikeal; and the strongest out of all of them is a female named Edith." Natasha says before shutting off her tablet.

A week into the mission, each team is split up in various locations watching for something to happen. Nothing has happened until people in Bucky and Sam's area started running hysterically away from something happening. As they ran, Bucky made sure his gun was loaded while Sam flew redwing and spoke over the coms that something was happening. 

When they all arrive, they see is a girl and guy attacking someone with the same masks hiding their faces that Bucky wore before he escaped Hydra. Bucky raises his gun and points it at them, "I won't hesitate to shoot you." Bucky takes a step forward and inches his finger towards the trigger. The girl who they assume is Edith nods for the guy to continue while she steps over a few bodies and walking towards them. 

Bucky shot once at her leg, but she kept walking like it didn't affect her at all. Her eyes faded into a clear reflecting Bucky and Sam in them. She raised her hand slowly and Bucky felt powerless as he started falling to the ground. Sam was about to shoot her with redwing when he felt the wings on his back wrap around him and start to squeeze his body. 

Wanda and Pietro arrived first since Pietro ran them there and Wanda tried to get in her head, while Pietro scoped out the place. 

Edith turns to Wanda, her eyes turning to clear again then changing to red like Wandas do. Soon enough when Wanda tried to use her powers she couldn't, she could feel that they were still there, but she couldn't use them. 

Edith walks away from a confused and worried Wanda that is still trying to use her powers. Edith gets to a guy that her partner is choking and puts two fingers on each side of his head, absorbing all of his life force until he is dead. 

They walk away, getting into an armored truck and driving away. Thats when Bucky feels his strength again, Sam's wings go back to normal, and Wanda has her powers back under control. "What the hell was that?" Bucky asks turning towards Sam genuinely confused about what just happened. 

"I see why she is the strongest." Pietro comments trying to lighten the mood but all he gets is glares from everyone. 

"Guys! We need hel-! HELP!" They hear Natasha yell over coms, they all get going to their location. Bucky on a motorcycle, Sam flying with his wings, Wanda and Pietro run there, arriving faster than the other two. 

When Wanda and Pietro arrive there are four enhanced, each on fighting a person. Nat, Clint, Thor, and Vision who are most likely the fastest ones to arrive to Natashas location. The girl walks up to Natasha, her mask off but she has a straight face expressing no emotion. 

Natasha grabs her gun, but she uses her powers to whip it out of her hands. Natasha gasps quietly as the girl does something to her. 

Wanda and Pietro began helping the others so they could help Natasha soon. 

Natasha throws a tiny penny looking device that explodes at the girls' feet, knocking her off her feet but Natasha went along with it too as the girl was too close to her.  They both jump up onto their hind legs one hand on the ground exactly the same as she knows everything Natasha will do before she does it. 

"Who are you...?" Natasha whispers turning her head to the side trying to examine her emotionless face. "cel mai mare coșmar al tău" [your worst nightmare] She says in a thick Romanian accent which Natasha assumes is the only language she knows. 

Edith puts her hands on Natashas head starting to drain the life of her when Wanda blasts Edith with her powers into a wall which just makes her angry. "nu ar fi trebuit să faci asta Wanda Maximoff!" [You shouldn't have done that Wanda Maximoff!]  She yells getting up and walking towards her slowly lifting her head to look at her, her eyes glowing the same red that Wandas are now. 

"You need to stop killing people! It isn't right" Edith smirks and shakes her head, "You do-on't know wha-at's right!" Edith says struggling to speak English as well as Wanda. "Think fast!" Pietro says making Edith distracted enough for Vision to come behind and knock her out as he did with one other of her partners before the other two ran off.

So this was the first chapter, I have high expectations and lots of ideas for this story so hopefully you like it. I know there may be mistakes but when the whole book is done I will come back revise each chapter. This will also be a slow burn story about Bucky Barnes. 

I will try to post regularly, just be kind and patient with me. I am in school and have a job so be respectful of that as well. Anyways enjoy the sort of good probably terrible story. At least the plot is there.
