As the four friends slept, the ambience of the room slowly but surely got them to meet Greg. Their vision was blurry at first, but they eventually noticed that they were in a world with a green sky and blue grass, along with red trees--like in autumn. Greg then showed up... for the first time ever, Phil saw Greg's eyes open. Well, almost. The others were quite surprised to see Greg's sparkling blue eyes... which were never visible while covered by the eyelids.
"So I see you've all decided to come here," said Greg.
"Yes..." said Phil, "we heard it's your birthday today, so... since you're always asleep, we headed into the dream realm..."
"Yeah!" said Smiley. "This is so interesting!"
"Well, thank you all for coming..." said Greg, "for a moment I thought you didn't see the invitations my mom sent out."
"What invitations?" inquired Phred. "We... didn't see them."
"We just decided to join you," said Zack.
"Well then, I am even more flattered. A constant sleeper like me doesn't get that much attention often."
"We thought you might say that," said Phil. "Your refrigerator is empty, and you clearly don't have a chef. Say, is it really true that your family doesn't starve to death because your body doesn't need food?"
"I prefer not to answer that question right here," said Greg. "It's a matter of two tales."
"Fair enough."
"Say, what was your perspective of each Riddle School game?" asked Smiley.
"In Riddle School," said Greg, "I was dubbed the least hungry and the most restful student at school. I learned things in through the uncanny method of slumber, just like Sharie did in Mrs. Jewls' class. In Riddle School 2, I was at home, as I was no fit for Mr. O. Boe's music class."
"Very intriguing," said Phred, "carry on."
"In Riddle School 3, I was with Mrs. Munch in the dreamy cafeteria. There was pudding for a dollar, but I didn't care, because I heard rumors that there were chemicals in pudding..."
"Chemicals?" replied Zack, "I certainly don't recognize this..."
"To be fair, they were rumors," continued Greg. "Then I pictured a lava flowing scene, like in Water or Lava?, in Riddle School 4. I get the feeling that Phred was dreaming of me being there later."
"Fair enough," said Phil, "what next?"
"After that I think I blacked out," said Greg. "Yeah, I can't remember much of what happened ever since I showed up here."
"Constant sleepers sure have an interesting life," replied Smiley. "I wonder if there are any others in the world."
"Oh, I've met many," said Greg. "There's Little Van Tinkle... Koya from BT21... Snoozer from Hamtaro... Sleeper from the Plantation... This particular world is the only place you'll find them awake."
"I sure wouldn't want to be a constant sleeper," said Phil. "I want to use my logic to truly get somewhere in life."
"I am glad you have made your decision," said Greg, "it is quite an important decision to make in life. How you want to live it."
So the friends continued chatting with Greg. Chatting about what happened in Riddle School; chatting about what didn't happen in Riddle School; chatting about stuff with no relation to Riddle School.
Eventually, it was time for birthday cake and presents. Luckily, Greg didn't need to get any presents, since in the dream realm, he could just imagine whatever it wanted and it was appear. As for the birthday cake, it was the dreamiest, most satisfying cake the five friends ever tasted. Best of all, they knew the cake wasn't real, so they didn't have to worry about getting diabetes from eating too much.
