LOOKING BACK, Kelly never met Mrs. Carolina properly. She remembered her mother talking to the Madame but Kelly was never introduced. Kaya't ngayong nagbabasa siya ng article sa kanyang iPad ay hindi niya maiwasang mapaisip.

Carolina Tan denied her son's relationship rumors with the Elite supermodel, Kelly Brandon. Caleb Acosta is enganged with someone else!

Tumunog ang cellphone niya habang binabasa iyon. She sighed when she saw that it was Caleb. Pinatay niya lang iyon at nag-ayos para sa shoot niya.

She just changed into a black lounge suit. Wala siyang lakas para mag-ayos pa sa sarili. Kaya't hindi niya inaasahang pagkabukas niya ng suite ay madadatnan niya si Caleb doon.

He was wearing casual clothes again. Her face brightened when he saw her.

"The article's not true.. " bungad nito kahit hindi naman tinatanong.

Dire-diretso lang siya sa paglakad hanggang sa makapasok sa elevator. Sumunod naman si Caleb sa kan'ya at ito na mismo ang nagsarado.

"I already talked with my mother. She'll deny the engagement soon. "

Kelly scrolled on her phone, checking her manager's messages.

"I think you should go home, Caleb. "

Caleb became alarmed. "Why? I'll take care of the articles. I'm not engage with anyone. And I don't see the reason why I should go home now that it'll be fine. "

Pinaglaruan niya ang cellphone sa kamay. "Hindi sa ganoon. Just.. I think.. mas maayos kung nasa Pilipinas ka. Are you not worried? I bet there's a lot of reporters outside your house and your company. "

"I have my men protecting my active properties. There's nothing to worry. "

She bit her lip. She advanced the elevator opened but she was stopped when Caleb suddenly pulled her wrist. Tumingin siya sa palapulsuhan na hawak ng lalaki. Her heart suddenly ache. Ironic. Nasa langit pa ang saya niya kagabi ngunit ngayon.. bigla siyang bumagsak.

"What's our problem?"

Ginamit niya ang kabilang kamay para tanggalin ang hawak nito. Nagmamatigas ito at ayaw siyang bitawan ngunit nang makita siyang seryoso, dahan-dahan nitong niluwagan ang pagkakahawak. Nakawala siya.

"Nothing. Ayoko lang talaga na nandito ka habang may nangyayari sa pangalan mo doon. Isa pa, hindi naman ako magtatagal dito. If we can finish the shoot today, baka bukas ay agad akong umuwi.  You can just..  watch me some other time. "

Kelly admits that she got irritated with the article. But it's not the sole reason why she wanted Caleb to go home. It's that.. she doesn't want Caleb to prioritize her as his first.. even now that they're in a relationship.  Kasi alam niya sa sarili niyang hindi pa niya kayang gawing una sa lahat ang relasyon nila.

"You're not breaking up with me, are you?" Nasa tono nito ang pagdududa.

Napangisi siya at nilapitan ito. Nasa labas na sila ng elevator.

"Ang sabi ko nga ay uuwi ako pagkatapos ko dito diba? So no.. " Nanliit ang mata nito sa kan'ya, hindi parin naniniwala. "Come on, today is just our first day together. Why would I break up with you? Ano 'yon? Free trial lang?"

Caleb grimaced at the term she used but she can see the forming humor on his face. He sighed and loosen up a bit. Hindi katulad kanina na para itong constipated.

He held her one hand. Now gentle and soft unlike earlier that he's tense. Hinawakan rin nito ang isa niyang kamay at dahan-dahang hinila palapit dito. She was shocked when he's the one who enveloped her both hands around his waist. He let go of her hands when he saw that it is both resting on his body. Pagkatapos ay ito naman ang kumulong sa baywang niya.
