Richard's Story

            Richard slammed his fist into the face of a cop, laughing at how easy it was. Now you must be wondering why this person, whom you didn't know existed until now, is punching the authority while laughing. That answer is simple: He doesn't care. You could chop off one of his fingers and he still wouldn't care! Now as to why he doesn't care, I cannot honestly tell you. This man is a mystery in its purest form. All his actions have no meaning, his lack of emotions and knowledge makes no sense, and what he says certainly is confusing. Yet, here he is punching cops, and slowly learning about everyday things.

 "So.. When can I get my coffee?" He says, while biting someone's ear off. 

"After we get to the island." Someone answers from the darkness. 

"Awww, but that'll take forever and I want some coffee now!" He complained while eating the ear. 

"Well I'm sorry, but if someone hadn't set our car on fire we could have gone there sooner." The person replied, scolding him.

 "It's not my fault! They wouldn't drive faster!" He argued, still chewing on the ear.

 "Yeah, yeah.. Anyways.. Know where we are exactly?" They gestured outside. It was night, the only sound was of passing by cars and people arriving late. 

"Nope," He said, going to the window, "but it sure does look nice outside."

 "Yeah well, now's not the time for sightseeing. We need to get moving if we want to get to the island by the due date." They said, walking off. 

"Alright, alright." He said as he followed them grumbling.

AN: This was one of my first stories, I believe. It's been sitting in a doc for years now. I don't quite know where I was going with this one, but here it is. You'll probably see the 'island' referenced through some of them.
