Bloody rose//sunnew

Red rain

Sunwoo woke up to someone opening the front door.
He looked at the door while sitting on the couch and saw Hyunjin coming back from school.
Chanhee was still asleep on Sunwoo's lap, so he decided not to wake him up since he had probably stayed up for Sunwoo those whole 5 hours he was in sleep.
"Hi." Hyunjin whispered after seeing Chanhee sleeping.
"Hi." Sunwoo whispered back and yawned.
"I'm going to my room. Tell me if you need something." Hyunjin said and went to his room closing the door after him.
Sunwoo looked at the blonde guy sleeping on his lap with a smile.
He played with Chanhee's hair for a while until Chanhee started opening his eyes.
"Did you sleep well cutie?" Sunwoo asked.
"Mm." Chanhee answered with tired voice.
He got up to sit next to Sunwoo while rubbing his face and running his thin and pale fingers through his hair.
"Chanhee can I ask something?" Sunwoo asked carefully.
"You already did sunnie." Chanhee said and giggled.
"Why do you have traumas from the rain?" Sunwoo asked.
"Oh..." Chanhee got awful flashbacks from that day. Dark streets, blood everywhere, cold and the sound of rain.
"You see...it's really dark story. I would rather eat first." Chanhee said and got up.
"I'll go get us something. In the meantime you can rest here." He said and after asking Sunwoo what he wanted to eat, he left.
Hyunjin came out of his room and sat next to Sunwoo.
"You want to know why he's so afraid of the rain?" Hyunjin asked.
Sunwoo nodded.
"Well he wasn't always a vampire. There are vampires who were born as ones and vampires who transferred after getting bitten." Hyunjin explained.
"When Chanhee was younger he got bit. It's extremely painful if the poison kicks in. And that happened to him."
Sunwoo looked really worried right now. No wonder Chanhee didn't want to talk about it.
"It was a late night. He was walking back home from his friends house when someone attacked. He got bitten and he layed on the ground for hours before being able to get up. It was raining. He was freezing, bleeding, soaking wet and in huge pain the whole time. After that night his life changed completely." Hyunjin said. His look was empty and sad.
So was Sunwoo's.
He couldn't even imagine how horrible it must be. Not only to be in awful pain for hours, but also becoming a blood sucking pale and cold nonhuman.
"You shouldn't tell Chanhee I told you, ok?"
"Yeah, sure...why didn't I become a vampire then?"
"Hyunjoon didn't bite you long enough for the poison to kick in. Good thing Chanhee brought you here tho. Something really bad could have happened." Hyunjin said and got up.
"Anyway, I have homework to do." He said and went back to his room.
Now Sunwoo understood why Chanhee was doing his best to keep Sunwoo away from Hyunjoon. He went trough it himself.
