"thank you, mother reverend. i'll be going now."
the light haired purple cookie in nun uniform bowed down towards mother reverend cookie.
"yes, my child. please be careful outside. we don't want the same accident to happen... don't we?"
"...yes, mother."

pastry cookie closed the big church's door from outside, and sighed. she began to take a step forward, into the forest.
she was given a mission to take down all of the cake monsters in sight that might be roaming outside. being an obedient nun she is, she obeyed.
...although deep down she doesn't want to, anymore.

"huff.. let's just forget that moment. the past is the past. cake monsters are cake monst-"
her muttering was interrupted by a rustle, she immediately looked and saw a cake hound. her heart knows what to do.
knowing what pastry cookie is going to do, the cake hound ran away, further to the forest.
"ah- hey!" pastry shouted as she began chasing it. but she stopped for a second.

"...it didn't... do anything bad... right..?"

she immediately snapped back from that thought, trying to focus and take down as many cake monsters as possible. she then continued her steps and chased it, deeper to the forest.

all these runnings and dark forest only make it harder for her to aim at the cake hound. not to mention how fast the creature is!
the shadows of the trees that covered the sunlight slowly disappears. a bright light in front of her and the cake hound began appearing as they're running.
pastry was relieved by the sunlight, knowing it would help her vision to aim at the cake hound.

but she noticed something that the cake hound didn't...
a cliff.
the cake hound, unaware of what's in front of it still runs forward.
as it was on the edge of the cliff, pastry shouted.
"hey! look out-!" she jumped and reached for the cake hound, wrapping it around her arms and hugs it tightly.
unfortunately, it's too late.
they're already falling off the cliff.

although so, pastry still doesn't let go of the cake hound and still hugs it tightly making sure it won't get hurt.
her body hits the cliff's surface, she rolled down the cliff as her body gets injured badly even more.

they finally fell to the bottom of the cliff. pastry layed down there with bloods and wounds all over the place. the cake hound wasn't hurt at all.
"-you... stupid thing... be careful... next time.." she groaned in pain before she fainted.

whine...
the cake hound whined, still wrapped around her arms. it could run away, but it decided not to... as if it knows that she saved it.
the cake hound licked the injuries on her face while whining continually.

"chiffon! what happened there?!"
a deep, rough voice shouted from the other side.
"chiff-"
the red skinned figure with a cake arm stopped talking as he saw someone familiar close to the cake hound, or chiffon.

"...you are..
pastry..?"

red velvet cookie mumbled in disbelief and shock.
the one he met with before, who almost killed him and his cake hounds... hugged chiffon tightly as she's injured all over the place.

whine...

to be continued? ;)
