A crime at the Town Hall. People fainting and shouting. People clamouring over each other to look at the gruesome murder discovered in front of Hillmsworth's Town Hall. Bill watched as everybody reacted differently to the crime. All he thought of it, as he wrinkled his nose in distaste, was that it was very flashy and very annoying.

As he walked past, he thought about everything that might have happened to lead to this case.

Just as he turned his head, Bill could see the 'Peelers' or Police rushing to the scene. He walked onwards, with his hands in his pockets.

Later that evening, Bill lay in his creaky bed in his bedroom that he shared with his brother as he stared up at the ceiling, contemplating the days events, particularly the murder case.

"How strange," he mused,"How strange indeed."

He moved his head as he winced at the harsh creaking of his bed and realised his brother was peering at him from under his wool blanket, or more strangely, at the wall behind him. Not wanting to make some more noise, Bill resigned to asking his brother in the morning about what he was staring at.
