Embracing The Light (Arno Dorian x OC), an Assassin's Creed Fanfiction

Before the story begins (PLEASE READ)

⚠️ Please read this short note before you begin in order to fully understand the plot of the story and other things ⚠️

Thank you for clicking on this story, I hope it won't disappoint you 🤪 I will keep this note short so you can quickly start reading. I just want to make a few things clear about the story and other things before you begin to read.
First of all, this story takes place after the main story of Assassin's Creed Unity, it begins more precisely a couple of months after, during October 1794. The Dead Kings DLC's story is NOT included — you will understand why a few chapters later —, so consider that it has never existed for this fanfic (even though it is a GREAT DLC).
Second of all, this fanfic will NOT contain anything sexual, no smut, no lemon whatever, because I just don't like to write about that. Of course it is a fanfiction so there will be romantic stuff, but nothing that would make le Marquis de Sade proud.
And lastly, I've said this already in my other fanfic but english is not my native language. Therefore you may find a few grammatical mistakes in this fanfic, even though I try not to make any. I usually reread what I write and I also use a few translation tools for the expressions I'm unsure about, but I'm only human so please don't kill me if I let a few mistakes slip through. <3 :)
By the time you're reading this message, I only have a couple of chapters to finish writing and this entire fanfiction will be DONE once and for all. I already wrote most of the chapters and they all are — more or less — ready to be posted. I started writing this more than a year ago and I'm pretty excited to share it with you.
