As soon as the last bell went, I walked out of the school still having thoughts of the boy who had the same colour eyes a me. Could he be my twin, no my dad would have told me if that was the case. I put my Air Pods in and enjoy the walk home.
I step into the house and its quiet. To quiet. I slowly walk into the house to be greeted to something I really do not need to see.
"Uh gross!" I say and my dad looks up as I run up the stairs and lock myself in my room trying to get the image out of my head. I just walked in on my dad making out with his so-called girlfriend. I know that is mean, but he has not had one in years! My mind drifts to the boy, Oakley I think his name is. I'm not going to lie he was kind of cute, his jade green eyes and his hair, the way it just sits makes him look a soft teddy bear.
"Ophelia! Can you come down here please," My dad's voice interrupting my thoughts.
"Coming!" I yell back and run down the stairs to see my dad and his girlfriend.
"Sport, I'm really sorry I'm putting this on your shoulders now but, Jade and her son are moving in tomorrow," My eyes go wide as my dad says that "Oh, and this also could be a bit much to handle but, this is your mother and we are back together and you have a twin," I choke and look at the girl, or my mother and see that she has the same eyes as myself.
"C-can I s-see a picture of him?" I choke out slowly. My mum pulls out her phone and shows me a picture of him.
"His names Oakley," She says with a sweet smile. I gasp as I see a familiar face.
We will just say. I thought my bother was cute.
