I guess this might be a good time for inroductions. My name is Lola Alvarez. My life is basically perfect. Eveyrhting went my way most of the time. I hated my life though, BECAUSE it was perfect. No muse or inspiration. No plot or conflict to mess wih the resolution. No thrill or excitement until...no wait...
*REWIND*
"Once upon a.." ugh no. "It was dark when.." NO! ew.. How do people just write fantastic stories?! I have a lack of imagination, experience. English was always my best subject, except for the fact that I can't write narratives!
"Lola, imagination!" Mrs. Mei always told me.
Now, in order to pass this class, I have to write a story. Silly, right? Nope. My grade sort of depends on this pathetic story. I have to, and I quote, "blow her away with my imagination and fantastic wit on experience!" Only problem is, I don't have any of that! I decided to take my mind off of it and go somewhere. I hopped off my bed, set my laptop down on my desk, put my boots on, and grabbed my keys. I opened the door when a gust of wind blew into my face. I sighed as I took a step out in the cold air of London.
Just a couple blocks down, was my destinaton, Starbucks. I got inside the warm shop. I could smell coffee, my favorite scent. I loved coffee during the mornings. Luckily there was no line, so I was first. My best friend, Cyryll (sigh-rill), works here, too. It makes it all the worth while to come here almost every weekend.
"Hello! Welcome to Starbucks! I hope you're having a great morning so far. What can I get you started off with?" Cyryll energetically asked.
She was fixing the cups, so she didn't see it was me yet. Normally, people here at Starbucks ar boring and have the usual fake smile plastered on their face, along with their fake voice of enthusiasm. Cyryll was different, though. She was a naturally happy person who laughed at everything and rarely gets grumpy unless its about Harry Styles not wanting to marry her. I admired her for her dedication and natural perkiness.
"Morning Cereal!" I shouted back.
"OH! Psh..its just you!" She chuckled.
"Yus! The beautiful Lola at your service" I winked at her.
"The reg?"
"Yes! please and thanks" I took my wallet out and pulled out a couple dollars. After I handed it to her, she pushed some buttons and gave me my change.
"ACHOO" I sneezed after bringing my elbow up to my mouth.
"Bless-.." She stared beyond me, her mouth agape. I could've sworn I saw a tear escape from her eye.
"Dude, I realize you think my sneezes are cute and all, but...emotional much?" I asked her with a hint of humor. In middle school, where I met her, she always used to get all gushy after I sneezed. It isn't my fault my sneeze is so soft, as opposed to her violent one.
"its uhm..uhh.." She was stuttering so much. I've never seen her so nervous and taken back. Plus she was crying! Like what? I decided to see what she was jump about. I turned around and I saw someone with his head turned in the other direction. Even though I couldn't see his face, I recognized that birthmark anywhere. Suddenly I realized where her tears came from. Why she seemed so nervous...so..shy.
It was THEE authentic, in the flesh, beautiful.... Liam Payne..
