"Niall, does this look good on me?" I asked him as I started putting my black heels on. "Yes love" he replied as he quickly combed his hair with gel. Louis and his girlfriend Kate was going to pick us up to go to Zayn and Perrie's wedding. I clasped on my Tiffany bracelet because it matched my engagement ring perfectly. About a month ago, Niall had proposed to me with this beautiful silver band with eighteen tiny little diamonds built around it. "Why aren't they coming?" Niall said for about the 100th time. "I don't know hun" I replied every time. They were supposed to arrive exactly seven minutes ago. Finally, ten minutes later, they arrived, Louis' tie in a mess. I checked myself in my full length mirror for the last time. I was wearing a gold tinted, one shoulder short dress that fitted my petite body perfectly, with my long nutmeg hair curled and held back with bobby pins. My natural eye makeup really accented my blue- green eyes. Though we weren't late, Kate and I were Perrie's bridesmaids and the other all the band members were Zayn's groomsmen which meant that we had to go earlier. Niall hated being late, and of course being late was Louis' specialty. As soon as we entered the sleek black limo, Niall, as always, gave Louis another talk about being late. Kate and I complimented each
other right away, "Savannah! You look gorgeous!" Kate said as she hugged me tightly. She was wearing the same dress and shoes as me also with her long ombre hair curled. The only difference was that she was much taller. "You should look in the mirror yourself" I said hugging her back. The driver began pulling over. "What seems to be the problem?" Louis asked the driver in his most polite voice. "It seems as though the engine's battery has died." he replied in a worrying voice. We waited a few minutes, which felt like hours until Niall couldn't stand it anymore. "We should call Harry or Liam." Niall suggested. He dialed Harry's number and Harry answered on the second ring. "Hey mate, our car crashed down and we were wondering if you could pick us up. We're around exit 22 on freeway 5." We all stared at Niall as Harry replied. We were all relieved when we saw Niall's worry lines slowly fading away. "Thanks so much!" he said to Harry and he hung up. Harry was coming in fifteen minutes.
Once we arrived, we ran into Perrie's changing room. She looked beautiful in the dress her, Kate, and I picked together. It was a strapless ivory mermaid style dress flaring out near the end covered in lace and sequins. "WHERE WERE YOU GUYS?" she shrieked. Kate and I just said "long story", and Perrie slowly calmed down. I excused myself to go remind Niall about our wedding gift to Zayn and Perrie, but as soon as I opened the door, paparazzi's and interviewers crowded me. They bombarded me with questions like "Savannah, I heard you got engaged!", "Are you happy for Perrie?" , "Do you love Niall?" and the classic interviewer's questions. I turned around, opened the door, and threw myself back in. Panting, I told the girls what had happened. I quickly texted Niall to pick me up because of the interviewers. Five minutes later, he came, and together we walked through the crowd, him holding tightly onto my hand, whispering, "It's going to be alright." We finally left the crowd and by then, it was time for the wedding.
The courtyard was decorated with gold streamers and white roses. Perrie walked down the aisle to "Little Things" and seeing Zayn's awed expression was so cute and sweet. They recited the classic wedding vows and exchanged their rings. We ate Italian food, and it was time for Zayn and Perrie's first dance. They slow danced to "They Don't Know About Us" and it was finally time to dance all together. As soon as they played "Cupid Shuffle", Niall dragged me to the dance floor. He danced so full out that by the end of the song, he was gasping for air. But when "You and I" came on, he didn't even hesitate to slow dance with me. We hadn't settled down and talked about things other than work or money since the engagement. So slow dancing and talking was wonderful. He kissed me forehead and whispered "I love you" in my ear. His words warmed me for the rest of the night. After saying bye to everyone, Louis and Kate dropped Niall and me to my apartment, which is just a few stories lower than Niall's. Kate and I planned a shopping date next week. As soon as Niall and I changed into comfy clothes, I wrapped myself in a cozy blanket and watched Tangled, my favorite movie cuddled on my couch with Niall. I eventually fell asleep in Niall's arms. He carried me into my bed, kissed me, said, "Goodnight princess" and left silently to his apartment. After seeing Zayn and Perrie's wedding, I couldn't wait to start planning my own wedding. It would be the most absolute perfect day.
