Love of my life (Sam Drake x reader)

The Start

Backstory: Carmen and Sam are bestfriends, Carmen is 16 (She is actually turning 17 today), Sam is 18, Nate is 13. Carmen also lives in the orphanage, but in the girls section. She has always been an adventurer at heart, as are the Drake brothers.

*In her room, all the other girls and boys have gone to a camp, but she was not allowed to go, because she had slapped one of the other girls for talking badly about Sam and Nate*

*Sam had already been taken out of the orphanage, because he is of age, but he still came to visit Nate and Carmen as much as he could*
*She heard a knock at her window and knew it was Sam, so she quickly got up and put on the hoodie he had given her, then opened the window, letting him climb inside*

*They hugged*
Carmen: Hi
Sam: Hi, I see your wearing the hoodie I gave you
Carmen: Oh shut up, It's comfortable
*She shoves his shoulder*
Sam: No, you look cute in it
Carmen: *blushes* Thanks
Sam: Happy birthday
Carmen: You remembered? No one rememberred, not even the nuns
Sam: How could I forget my best girls birthday?
Sam: I got you something. It's not much but...
*He hands her a small box*
Carmen: What is it?
Sam: Open it!
*She gives him a small smile, then opens the box, revealing a poloroid photo of Sam, Carmen and Nate, on one of their little adventures*
Carmen: Wow...
*She looks up at him, who is giving her a hopeful smile, his hands behind his back*
Carmen: I love it, Sam!
*She puts the box down on her bed, then rushes over to Sam to give him another hug. With his arms still around her, he says...*
Sam: I'm glad you like it
*She lets go and asks him how he has been doing, and his reply was "I'll tell you when we get Nate"*
Carmen: Well, what are we waiting for, let's go get your little brother

*Nathan has always been like a little brother her, she loved him so much and couldn't wait to see him again. So, she took her backpack and put the snacks that she had hidden from the nuns in there. While she was doing that Sam signalled to Nate with his flashlight. When she was done they climbed out the window and headed for the halfway point between their rooms*

*After climbing for a while they reached the halway point, but Nate wasn't there yet, so Sam decided to put his flashlight down and hide hoping to scare him*
Carmen: You're so mean
Sam: C'mon it's gonna be funny. Just hide and stay quiet
Carmen Ugh, fine
*They both hided behind a wall, waiting for Nathan's arrival. It didn't take long for him to get there, he was Samuel Morgan's brother after all*
Nate: Sam...
*He looked around, then went to pick up Sam's flashlight, and just as he did, Sam ran over and picked him up from behind*
Sam: Nathan, you gotta learn to watch your back!
Nate:*Chuckles* Yeah yeah, hello to you too big brother
*Carmen also amurshed from the darkness, Nathan's face lighting up even more when he saw you*
Carmen: Hey Nate
Nate: Hey Carmen, Happy birthday
Carmen: Thank you
*He hugged her, then she noticed the bruise on his face and leaned down, touching it softly*
Carmen: What happened here?
Nate: It's nothing Carmen
Sam: Nathan, what have I told you-
Nate: They were talking shit about us
Sam: I told you to not let it get to you
Carmen: He is not the only guilty one here of violance
*She said, lifting her hand*
Sam: What did you do?
Carmen: I slapped a bitch
Sam: Why?
Carmen: Because they were talking shit about you two
Nate: See, Sam?
Sam: Really, you too?
Carmen: Yes really. Look, I know what you said about it, and I know you're right, but look on the bright side. If me and Nathan didn't do that, we would both not be here right now
Sam: What does that mean?
Nate: All the other kids have gone to a camp thing and we weren't allowed to go, because we "misbehaved"
Sam: I guess that's one way of looking at it... Okay, fine. But no more fights... both of you
Nate: Aye Aye, Captain
Sam: C'mon, I have a surprize for you guys
*Before any questions could be asked, Sam ran jumped to the next rooftop. Nate and Carmen shared a look then started following him*

*After running and jumping on the different rooftops for a while, they reached Sam's bike*
Carmen: You bought this?
Sam: Yeah, with hard earned cash
*Nate was quiet for a while, but then he spoke*
Nate: What's up Sam?
Sam: What do you mean, little brother?
Nate: The only time you pull stuff like this, is when something's wrong
Sam: Ok... I uhm... got a job. It pays well, really well but... I have to go away for a while
Carmen: How long?
Sam: A year
Carmen: A year?!
Nate: What?

Sam: I'll be back before you you know it
Nate: Take us with you
Sam: I can barely support myself...
Carmen: We can pitch in. I can work and so can Nate if hes up for it, but you are not leaving us here
Nate: Yeah, I agree with her, Sam
Sam: Why are you making this so difficult
Carmen: Sam, I am not taking no for an answer
Nate: We'll help as much as we can
Sam: Ugh shit, you two. Ok, I'll take you with, but I have one more surprize. And trust, it's a good one, at least for you Nate.
Nate: What is it?
Sam: I found mom's stuff
Nate: Are you kidding? If you're just saying this to make me feel better
Sam: No, I swear
Carmen: Where is it then?
Sam: I have the adress. Hop on, and we can get our stuff
Nate:*smiles* You mean steal it
Sam: It's stealing if it was ours to begin with
Carmen: Let's go
*All three of them got on the bike. They didn't know how they fit, but they did, and that's all that matters*
