Alex and RWBY were outside in the frost to get some train done as the tournament was only a few weeks away, as they were currently talking about tactics and plans for their opponents. "Hi everyone, (everyone looked at Ruby) I think we should have our own sort of tournament, that way we can think of new ways to use our abilities cards and powers but Alex you're gonna be the champion cause well, you know" Ruby said as they nodded "mind with we join?" The five turned to see Teams JNPR, Velvet and Cardin "sure besides it will be more exciting that way" Ruby said with joy after that everyone however Alex noticed that Cardin had an evil grin on Ruby, "(whispering) partner, you see his smile too?" Drago whispered "(whispering) yeah, gonna need to be careful" Alex replied as Drago nodded after that they all started and everyone was having fun: Jaune fought Blake and lost, Yang fought Pyrrha and won barely, Weiss fought Nora and it was a tie, Ren fought Weiss and again that ended in a tie, which left Alex who going against Velvet and Ruby who going to face Cardin.
As Velvet and Alex stood up, "Ready Velvet?" Alex asked "yep because now I can fight against you, in the best mindset" Velvet replied as Alex smiled "GAUNTLET POWER STRIKE!!!" They shouted while their gauntlet glowed "Gatecard Set!" Alex said while throwing down a gate card "Bakugan Brawl, Drago stand!" he added while throwing drago out in ball form as a fire tornado formed then left revealing his true form.
