don't think so and I don't care. I won't come back. So what. I went missing for 15
months. That doesn't change the fact that all you ever did was hurt me. All I ever
wanted was love and to be cared for. Why was that so hard for you to understand?”
I
finished in a low voice with tears in my eyes. Axel sat next to me now on the floor and
said .“ I Know this won't change anything, but I am truly sorry for all the things I did to
you. I was stupid and didn’t realize family is the most precious thing in someone’s life.
When we couldn't find you, we eventually gave u,p but I knew I would find you one day
and I did. I wanted to make things right and now I get the chance. So Ralph, I'm
extremely sorry for everything. I will always love you. After all, you are my little brother.
You don't have to accept my apology, but I hope we can start over.” I was shocked and
speechless. Axel got up to leave, but before he could, I grabbed his arm and pulled him
back down and said '' Axel, you're my brother, and I’ll always love you. That's all I ever
wanted to hear and of course we can restart. It might take me a while to completely
forgive you, but I can try.”
We were on the ground crying and that's how my life changed
for the better.
