Near Savannah, Georgia was a small town, not seen on maps, known as Newport. Nobody visited the town, and nobody left. Newport was one of those places where the only people who occupied it were the townsfolk whose families had lived there for generations, and nobody ever thought of leaving. If the thought crossed their minds, they never did.

So shock came to all when mysterious city boy Harry Styles drives into town and checks into Newport Motel. Weeks go by, and Harry's presence soon becomes normal to most. That is, except for Anastasia Green.

Anastasia is a quiet girl, who was home schooled all her life and chooses to keep to herself. But when she notices Harry around the town library more and more often, she becomes intrigued.

The two come from completely different lives, but somehow find themselves forced into a friendship over unlikely circumstances. Faced with anger, happiness, love, pain, death, and life, will Harry become a nee occupant to the town and to Anastasia's small life, or will he disappear just as mysteriously as he appeared?
