One sunny day, where a kingdom was ruled by a lovely Queen and King. There was a freedom for all people around them.

Children can study, women can work like men, men doing house chores and they are all bless to marry anyone they love.

Queen gave birth to a princess who have special magic. But after giving birth to a baby princess,  the Queen died.

King don't know what to do. He doesn't want his daughter grow up with no mother.

So, he remarried. A beautiful woman who has 2 daughters who are one year older than the princess.

King named her Cherry Ice.  Only the stepQueen know about the power of his only daughter.

Few years passed, Cherry Ice slowly train by her father of how using her ice magic.

At first, the second Queen felt warm in the kingdom she treat as her new home. But when she always see her husband the King was always with the princess, she become jealous because he has no time for her.

The princess grow up treating her stepmother as her own mother. She was so kind to the new Queen while the new Queen is pretending she was loved.

Few months passed, the King died without preparing anything to give the throne to the princess.

The new Queen insists to take care of everything as the princess crying day and night.

The true color of the Queen showed and it made the princess feel less hope about anything new to be a good progress in her life.

The Queen took her beautiful bedroom and take her to the highest tower of the palace. She called all the maids to transfer the old bed, plain white dresses and a simple lamp to be her light source.

At that day, the new Queen locked her up in her room. The stepsisters become cruel to her like their mother.
Cherry Ice seeing the hearse of her father is riding away with the new Queen without her.

She did not said goodbye for the last time.

After burying the coffin of the King, the new Queen ruled the whole kingdom. She set a rule that only rich women and men should learn how to read and write. No freedom to marry anyone outside their family and relatives. She set the gender roles in the kingdom.

Everything become miserable.

The new Queen now treating the princess as a new maid of the palace. But, she is punishing the princess whenever she see something wrong around.

(Queen walks to the library, looking at the bookshelf. She slides her finger to the bookshelf and feels a bit of dust)

"Cherry! Cherry!"

The princess that now as a maid enters inside the library. She is slightly panting when she was called.

"You called me Your Highness?", she replied.

" What is this? I expected you can clean the palace like how our maids clean your dresses when you were once as a princess.", the Queen shouted.

"But I am not the one who was assigned to clean the library. ", she replied with her shy bow head.

" Don't you dare talking back to me! You owe me everything! If I want to I can kick you out of my palace! You are the reason why my dear King never have fun with my daughters. He forgot that he don't just have you as his daughter, he forgot he has daughters from me! Now, get back to work! You will not rest until you finish cleaning all corners here in my palace! ", the new Queen shouted and she turned away and walked outside the library.

Cherry Ice walk back to the washing room, looked tired and dirty. Other maids look at her as she enters.

" What happened there, dear princess? ", one of them asks.

"She found a dust in the library bookshelf. She said I will not get a rest until I finish cleaning all rooms in the palace. ", the princess said.

" *whisper* That is cruel! I don't know why the dear King married that awful woman? ", said one maid while scrubbing a cloth.

" Anyways, are you hungry? Dont worry about the chores. Other maids will do it. Come. ", said one maid as she was walk with to the kitchen.

Quietly and slowly opening the door to the kitchen, the maid grab a plate of a piece of strawberry cake.

" Eat. ", the maid said.

" But it is my stepsisters favorite cake. ", she replied.

" The bakers can make lots of it. You can have it. ", the maid said.

The princess get the plate of a cake and start using the fork to eat it.

" By the way, I am Etherial, I am 17.", said the maid.

"Nice to meet you, Etherial. I'm Cherry Ice. ", said the princess while eating the cake.

" I worked here with my older brother and his childhood friend. They are both bakers and chefs. Well, my brother only do is making breads and cakes while his childhood friend make breakfast lunch and dinner. ", Etherial said.

Cherry Ice finishes the cake as Etherial get the plate and wash it on the sink.

*Door opens*

They both surprised when the door opens as seeing the stepsisters of the princess enter inside happily.

" Johnny, David! ", they both shout the names with joy.

" Oh no, they called my brother and his friend again. ", said Etherial.

" Really? They like your brother? ", asks Cherry Ice.

" Princess Divina likes my brother while Princess Daven likes his friend. I can't blame them, they are too handsome. But I doubt the new Queen will let those two marry my brothers and his friend. ", said Etherial.

Princess Daven who wears green dress look accidentally to Cherry Ice and saw her with Etherial.

" My, my my! Johnny's little sister is here with this.... hmmmm, a poor princess in a garbage bag.", said Princess Daven which slowly walking forward with her sister.

They both laugh.

"Anyways, where is your older brother, Etherial? ", asks Princess Divina.

" Also, where is his friend? ", asks Princess Daven. 

"They are taking a lunch break Your Highnesses. Do you want me to call them? ", asks politely of Etherial.

" Hmmm, no thank you. We will go to there to see them. By the way, why are you with this dirty lady here? You will be the sister-in-law soon you know. ", said Princess Daven.

" She.... She just helped me out, Your Highnesses. ", lied Etherial.

" Well that is good. She is no longer a princess after all. She should help our future sister-in-law. ", said Princess Divina.

" Well, adios. We will meet your older brother. ", said Princess Daven as they walk our from the big wide kitchen.

*Door closes*

" Etherial, why did you lied to them? ", asks Cherry Ice.

" I have to. If I said the truth, they will lock you again. I am scared whenever they mentioned sister-in-law. I know you are the only one I can trust here. I know other people here will soon hate me because of gossip about wedding of my brother. ", said Etherial.

"They won't hate you, Etherial. You are a good person. ", said Cherry Ice.
