Friday. The only day the princess's schedule is completely free of all extracurriculars, charity events, or business dinners. This was easily her favorite day of the week and the fact that this was already her last class of the day made it even better.
She took advanced level qualifications in Business Studies due to her interest in the marketing aspect of the ruling. Jennie was flying solo in this class. Her friends chose different A-Levels than her — Roseanne chose music, and for Lalisa; D&T. It fit the two quite well. Roseanne preferred strumming her guitar and singing over politics and Lisa liked woodwork. She felt a bit lonely since she'd always have at least one of her friends sitting right beside her in classes, but she didn't let it bother her.
"Jeon, take those earphones out right this instant, or I'll take them out for you!" Mr. Hwang publicly warned the heir. Jennie let out a quiet scoff, she was this close to forgetting that her mortal enemy sat behind her in this class.
The princess had a gut feeling that he was planning something. She saw Chou Tzuyu recording her encounter with Jungkook five days ago. She knew that the conniving idiot had something planned for her. She just didn't know what.
She had zero ideas of what he wanted to do with that footage. Give it to the press? No, Jungkook's not that simple. He was an evil genius who had access to all the tools to abolish her reputation... and he was also sadistic, so simply giving the video to a journalist wouldn't be exciting enough for him. He wanted to see her suffer, but she wasn't going to let him get to her, no matter what.
The sound of the campus's clock tower struck and the melodious ringing sound could be heard by everyone in Jeongwon. The princess beamed. She could finally enjoy her Friday evening free of stress... or so she thought.
As the professor assigned the class their homework over the weekend, Jennie, who was planning what to do after stepping outside the gates, packed up her things. Swung her schoolbag with her initials monogrammed on over her left shoulder. She said her farewells to her teacher and some of her classmates whom she was closer to, and walked out of the door along with a few other students, humming a soft tune.
The halls were usually very crowded at this time. The excitement of Friday was just overwhelming to all the privileged rich kids; Jennie included.
Normally, Fridays would be the day she hung out with her friends in their dorms' common room or go the library, but today her favorite cousin was coming to visit her at home so the young princess was going to have to be transported straight to her family's castle right away. She didn't even have time to say goodbye to Lisa and Roseanne.
The brunette excitedly dashed out of the closest exit she could find. The ecstasy was almost strong enough to make her forget about the evil plan Jeon Jungkook probably had planned for her, almost.
Jennie started running for the front gate, where she would be picked up by one of her royal chauffeurs to her castle. She gripped her bag tightly, the wind in her hair. She had never run this fast before so it was utterly disappointing when she reached the school gates and found out that the front gate was temporarily closed due to some vandals spray-painting a giant stencil of a penis. Jennie groaned in annoyance. "Fucking year sevens, always doing idiotic shit for absolutely no reason." she cursed under her breath.
The girl now realized that the only other exit where her driver could pick her up was at the southeast wing of Jeongwon. She was on the southwest wing, and oh was Jeongwon big. The campus was roughly 1,500 acres worth of land and it is one of, if not the biggest secondary school in South Korea. If you leave your phone on the bleachers and you were already halfway to the STEAM building, you'd be better off buying a new phone. The brunette fished out for her phone in her skirt pocket and checked the time.
