the twins had gotten into an argument leading to them being summoned to their teacher's office. even this early in the morning, atsumu and osamu managed to get on each other's nerves like no one else.
meanwhile, miyoko sat across from suna, scrolling through her phone, awaiting the moment for her sleeping beauty to awaken.
"what time is it?" he looked up at her with tired eyes.
"sunarin! you look so cute, do you mind if i take a photo?"
suna, still disoriented and in a daze, couldn't provide her with a proper answer and instead just let out a small yawn. miyoko, unfortunately completely lovestruck, was caught in a trance by the small action and completely missed her opportunity to capture a photo.
he checked his watch, realising that he had a couple of minutes before classes started, he stood up abruptly.
"okay, see ya"
"wait!"
miyoko gripped the sleeve of his blazer, tugging him to a halt. his eyes met hers for a second before looking down at her hold on him.
she let go quickly as she also stood up, walking to stand in front of him.
"why are you trying to avoid me?"
miyoko hadn't been completely sure what had caused suna's recently aloof behaviour, she supposed he was usually like that. even so, she couldn't help but feel as thought something was wrong.
"i'm not" he told her plainly whilst picking up his bag.
"did i do something wrong?" miyoko asked, noticing how he avoided looking directly at her.
"no," he replied again before glancing at her sincere expression, "of course not"
"then is it something i said?"
"no," he sighed before meeting her eyes, "can we go now?"
miyoko was reluctant to step out of his way. though it may have seemed like she'd simply been pestering him for the past two years, she'd never seen him get this irritated with her.
