The lone wolf

The large, lone snow white wolf was walking along the river thinking what she would do if she were to be killed, or captured. She slowly went to take a drink and heard a voice yelling at 4 others, 5 in total. The wolf slowly runs into the shadows almost as though she was expecting it. The 5 people you had heard emerged: a redhead, a blonde, and 3 brown haired people. One of the brown haired men had a metal scent and then pointed at the creek and told the others something. The wolf peered out from her hiding spot and noticed that they looked ok but kinda like they had been out here for awhile. The redhead had a bandaged hand and her leg was cut a little. One of the brown haired men had his left arm covered and his face was cut up and bruised the others only had little scratches.

The blonde looked ok for the most part, his side was bandaged and there was a spot that looked like a bullet hole. The wolf trots over to a bunch of bushes but catches the eye of the blonde, the wolf not noticing that he had spotted her. He nudged the redhead and pointed to her. She looked up from a device and went wide eyed. She walks towards the bushes that the wolf is hiding in and the wolf sprints trying not to get captured, but one of the brown haired men had seen you and started in the chase but had yet to catch you. After about 5 minutes of chasing you the blonde finally caught you but when he looked into the wolf's eyes and they looked almost...human. That was impossible but he still found it sad to look you in the eyes when it was silently begging him not to hurt her.

They started a fire with the wolf's head on one of the brown haired's lap and tossed it some food, eating food themselves. The redhead obviously had a bunny, the blonde had a squirrel but the wolf couldn't identify what the brown haired men had. As the redhead finished the wolf heard the names of the people that had saved you when you had backed herself into a trap, and had decided they were good and she wanted to keep them safe. They were, Natasha was the redhead, the blonde was Steve, and one of the brown haired men was James or as the other 4 had called him Bucky, then there was tony he had a really torn up piece of who knows what covering some of his body, and last but not least clint who had a bow but oddly enough, no arrows. They were nice to the wolf and she soon realized they wouldn't hurt her or capture her so she had run off after her meal and found some natural healing plants that would help their injures. When she returned they looked kind of sad then the wolf realized they thought she was gone and had left them.

She jumps up onto a rock and howls loudly scaring them as the rock she had jumped onto was not very far from where they were camping. The wolf quickly jumps off the rock and bolts to Bucky making him smirk or half smile I guess you could say. Clint rubs her ears and she carefully places the herbs down and Natasha recognises some of them and starts to make a paste or or medicine to help their wounds. The wolf quickly goes back into the forest and drags back a huge log to help them make a shelter. When she nudges a towel/cloth they let her take it to gather materials. A few minutes later the wolf had come back and given the leaves and sticks to them and as it was getting late she curled up into a ball and was quickly asleep knowing that her new friends wouldn't hurt her. In the morning she went to go find food for them as no one else had woken up yet she quickly trots over to a berry bush and gets the cloth to gather the berrys. She then buts the berries by the fire and goes to find a source of protein. She quickly reaches a pond with fish in it and jumps into said pond. After catching some fish she goes and brings them back to the campsite.

When everyone wakes up they smell something cooking and notice the wolf has started cooking the fish, well more or less. Natasha helps to cook the fish by putting it on a stick and putting it over the fire. When Steve wakes up he helps with the berries and they soon have breakfast ready for everyone. When the other 2 wake up they look at the food and agree they will help with food tomorrow but little did they know that well there most likely wouldn't be a tomorrow as today the rest of their friends would come to rescue them. When the plane had come to rescue them they told the wolf to come with them and that it was alright and they were friendly. The wolf was being called shira even though she knew that wasn't her name anyways when she slowly crept onto the plane and it lifted off the ground the wolf whimpered and hid underneath one of the chairs. Clint and Bucky saw this and shared a look. Bucky beckons the wolf closer; he picks her up and puts her in his lap as Clint is in the chair right next to him.
