The lone wolf

A New Relationship

When you arrive home you enjoy a nice warm shower, washing away a feeling of dread in your gut. You get out and change into warm comfy clothes and crawl into bed thinking tomorrow was a big day.

You wake up with a sharp pain in your stomach and a giant headache. You make your way downstairs slowly trying not to puke, holding onto to the railing like it was your life line. When you get downstairs Natasha comes up to you and asks, " You okay? You look a little pale." you nod and go to the dinning table where Clint, Steve, Wanda, and Sam are all sitting. They turn to look at you and you wave and sit down, practically falling into your chair. Clint looks at you worried and asks, " Hey are you doing okay you look pale and almost like you're going to pass out. You nod and that's all it takes for you to see black.

When you wake up you're on a table in a laboratory looking room. You have metal chains around your wrists and ankles along with a strap holding your head down. Steve walks in with another man, which the man had a worried look on his face along with a worried scent. When Steve saw you awake he said something in the man's ear. Something you couldn't hear. You used your wolf ears to listen in on their conversation but they had already finished. Steve walked over to you and the man followed close behind. You looked over at them and said, " Well could you let me go please and why am I even chained up in the first place?" Steve responded with, "oh, we thought since it was a full moon you would do something. And yes I can unchain you."

He unchains you and you sit up. When you finish sitting up and positioning yourself you look at the man behind Steve. You assume he's the friend he keeps talking about but never got the name. "So you're the friend Steve keeps talking about." you say in a somewhat small voice. He only nods his head. You nod your head back and get off the table. When you get off the table the man flinches away and you exit through the clear glass door.

When you get to your room you see a bouquet of flowers and a note. You quickly read the note and it's a little poem/scavenger hunt clue thing. It didn't make sense but you read it anyway and you decide it probably goes to the kitchen.(it doesn't matter what it says you can make it say what you want. I'm not good at clues or poems.) You head to the kitchen and find a bag of gummy bears. (you're a wolf hybrid so you can't have chocolate.) You pick up the bag of gummy bears and there's a note underneath it. (again it doesn't matter and you can make it up.)

You are on the last clue and the only place it can go is the vent, and the only person you know that goes in the vents is Clint but there's no way your crush would like you back or that he liked you at all. You go to the entrance of the ventilation system and crawl in, going to Clint's favorite spot and you see arrows pointing left. You follow the arrows and it leads to Clint's bow. Suddenly you find a pair of lips on yours. Shocking you, you look at who is kissing you and it's the one and only Clint Barton. You start kissing back, but you're slightly hesitant. When you both pull away due to the lack of oxygen, you and Clint both are lobster red. He quickly mutters an apology and goes to leave the way you came, most likely going to pick up his arrows and bow. You stop him by putting your soft hand on his shoulder. "Clint, do you like me more than a friend?" you ask hesitantly waiting for his longly anticipated answer. "Yes, yes I do." He answers with a small smile on his face, waiting for your reaction.

You smile back and go to kiss him again. When you broke apart this time you were slightly less red and you were both smiling. Clint looks at you and asks, "what are we now?" you respond with the cliche, "Whatever you want to be." He responds with, "A unicorn what do you think?" (I swear whoever gets this I will love you forever.) You mentally facepalm yourself and look at him with a stink eye. "Or we could be dating so that means I can call you my girlfriend/boyfriend/ or whatever you want." Clint tells you after giving you a goofy smile. You nod your head and say, "yeah I would like that, race you!" you shout as you take off out of the main vent.

When you unsuccessfully make it out of the vents you're sadly met with a smiling clint and the urge to pass out so you go up to Clint and you go to hug him but you fall at the same time, startling Clint who catches you and picks you up. When he looks down at you he decides he's taking you to tony. Clint knows you're sick but doesn't know why. When you both make it to Tony he looks up from his project he's tinkering with and gives Clint a questioning look. Clint shakes his head and then asks, "Somethings going on and I think she might be really sick. I mean she has passed out once already. I was wondering if you could possibly do some tests or something to see what's wrong with her. Tony nods his head and goes to clear off a table he has. This one is more comfy than the last one.

When Tony finishes he calls Clint using Jarvis, as Clint had left to do some stress training with Natasha. Clint arrives and Tony just flat out tells him, "Someone poisoned her and I'm fairly sure that it was at the restaurant we went to. I think someone put something in her drink or food. I have gotten the poison out but it took a little work. She is going to need a lot of sleep so take her to bed please."
