It was early dawn, the sun far from peeking its head up on the horizon. A loud rumble is heard from a desolate forest in Alaska. At daybreak scientists have heard of this and research teams have been sent from the Joint base Elmendorf-Richardson.
Kobuk Valley National Park, 0900; cold and cloudy morning as researchers examine a small meteor that crashed into the forest in the early morning hours. The researchers take it back to a lab somewhere in Virginia.
Scientists at Remoore Lab examine the rock for 10 hours. 0100; Scientist Anouke Tresse Has discovered a living organism inside the meteor. Further testing confirms that there is only one specimen (that they know of). Scientists decide to get a citizen with cancer and try to cure it. The subject is kept in the room for a week, no changes in behavior or health and is sent home.
3 Days later; The subject gains strange symptoms and collapses inside their home. An hour later screams are heard as the subject goes on a blind killing spree. The subject steps out of their residential building, body deformed and mutated, their eyes glazed over and pitch black. Police were called minutes earlier and arrived at the scene of the subject ripping a pedestrian appart. Two cops are mangled as they shoot down the subject. A black van shows up and swiftly carts the body away. The subject's body is brought back to the lab and tested on.
2 Days later; Anouke Calls in sick and the lab forces him to come back. They place him in a glass observatory room and watch him. 4 Hours later a strange gurgling noise is heard from his bed, a researcher gets closer to the glass to investigate and a mutated Anouke smashes through the glass and strangles the researcher. He runs towards the exit and a scientist with a tranquilizer rifle tries to stop him and Anouke kills them and escapes the lab.
One of the remaining members of the police squad that shot down the subject at the residential incident falls ill. The illness spread to their families and caused chaos as citizens were hunted down and mutilated by mutated infectees.
