"Of course we want an explanation!" Lisa thundered, having a murderous look on her face. "Who did this to you? Where is he? Have you called the cops? How did you remove the bullet professionally and act so calm about it?" she continued to fire these questions too rapidly for Peter's brain to process, having a headache from all the shouting and questions and one of the aftereffects of being shot, which he experienced way too much.

Mr Moore had picked up his badly hidden pained look, so he decided to intervene. "Lisa, honey, why don't you let Peter breath for a moment before you kill him?" he asked, though the tone was certain and commanding. Lisa looked at Peter's expression and begun to apologize before shutting her mouth firmly, staring at Peter, silently begging him to tell them what happened and who did this.

"A mugger shot me, but he was caught by Spider-man and the caps have been called by him so he's spending ten years in jail." Peter answered, trying to give as little information as he could. The two parents nodded, though he has yet to answer all their questions. "What were you doing up at this time of night and what were you doing?" Peter's mother asked, her voice was slightly less high, so Peter wasn't going to get a headache, again.

He was stumped, didn't know how he was going to explain that he was out at two in the morning while supposedly in bed. "Is this why your always so tired in the morning and why you're such a heavy sleeper?" his father asked in a soft tone which was greatly appreciated by Peter. Wordlessly, Peter nodded looking at the floor as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. "Did you get in trouble with someone, because if so, we could help you with it." Lisa explained, trying to pry out what he was doing out this late at night. "No, I didn't get in trouble with anyone." Peter said, responding the question in as much certainty as he could.

Peter Parker didn't have any enemies, so he technically he wasn't lying, but his alter-ego, Spider-man, had too many to count on both hands for example muggers that he put in jail, he stopped counting after the fiftieth one, there was Adrian Toomes, or the Vulture, still hating him for taking him to prison and taking him away from his family, who didn't visit him in prison and there were his goons, whom Peter had tracked down and put them in different prisons since together they were smart enough to pull off a prison escape attempt and pull it off.

"How can you remove a bullet from your abdomen and bandage it up? And did this happen often since it looked like someone with a degree in M.D could pull it off this good." Peter didn't know how to tell them, so he only told part of the truth. "I once got shot on my way home from school so May got right to work when I stumbled in the apartment and since she was a surgeon, she had all the medical tools and experience needed to patch me up." At the mention of his aunt he teared up a little, still sore on the subject but wiped his expression clean and continued "and since that day my aunt had shown me all that there was to know about stitching and how to extract a bullet so when I get shot I would know what to do in case the ambulance doesn't come in time, and yes I carry medical equipment in my bag for medical purposes." he said, not wanting them to question his medical things in all his backpacks.

The truth was that Nat and Bruce had made Peter learn these things just in case he got in trouble while on his patrol. He was a very fast learner and due to his intelligence, he got a masters in M.D in just two months, well he would if he would go to a hospital school.

Peter knew that his parents weren't going to ask more questions luckily, and he knew that he was going off the hook with a warning to not do a stunt like that again. As soon as things were looking up, his Parker Luck had struck and this time it struck hard. As they were going to leave, after giving him the warning, his father tripped and fell which the three of them laughed at but before anyone could blink, Dylan's expression changed drastically as he kept staring under Peter's bed. Peter remembered that he had gotten out of his Spider-man suite and stuffed it under his bed, changing in his Pj's and then begun to work on his wound, so if one of his parents heard him, they wouldn't freak out by what he was wearing, but it seemed that all his efforts were in vain, judging by the look on his father's face.

Lisa got to her knees and looked over to where her husband was staring seeing something that she would never guess she would see, a bloody Spider-man suite. "Surprize?" Peter said , though it came out as a question, weakly.
