Hi, I'm Mezo Shoji

I'm already in my 4th year so we were mostly doing our hero internship and I was in the middle of a chase with Tokoyami, Hawks the currently number 2 hero was considerate enough to let me in his agency, I am very thankful to Tokoyami for introducing me to him...it's pretty hard to find an agency that would accept your abilities.

"Shoji! catch up!" Hawks yelled at me as he zooms further down the street chasing the culprit who just stole bags of money from the bank. I was trying to keep up with the two but they're too fast for me still since they can fly, I was already sweating...no, I will not give up! One of my tentacles saw an incoming armored vehicle, two of my arms then grabbed the side and cling onto it, one SWAT member aimed his gun at me when suddenly another puts down his gun, "Stand your ground! He's one of us!" he then nods towards me and I nodded back as thanks.

Tagging along with the SWAT team, I noticed something moving from the top of the buildings, jumping over big gaps with ease. Is't an enemy? The leader of the SWAT team seem to notice it also but didn't mind after, it must be a hero too. The hero manages to get ahead of the SWAT car and even catching up with Hawks and Tokoyami. Hawks then gives few of his feathers to the hero and attached it to their back which made them go ahead further than him. They then flew in front of Hawks, he then stretches his wings big enough that he's almost covering the street's width. "Ha!" Hawks yelled at the same time closes giving one heavy flap with his wings making the person with temporary wings zoom a bit faster, they were able to get ahead of the villains, they suddenly shot out something in front of the villains...no in front of the whole street which then attaches to nearby buildings. It didn't closed much on the side but it was able to stop the car that got stuck right in the middle of this giant sticky wall.

The villains then start to flee on foot, grabbing the bags of money, carrying what they can. The SWAT car was getting closer to the scene, I was starting to have a clearer vision on who the mystery hero was. Hawks then retrieves his feathers from the other hero who then landed on the ground without causing any damage to it, like a cat falling on its feet, and proceeded to chase the villains on foot. While they were running, I noticed that they had extra arms...like me, my eyes widened from this...this...sort of realization, it is POSSIBLE to run fast even with extra limbs.

As the SWAT car reached its limit because of the sticky wall, the SWAT team proceeded to run on foot. I looked at how the hero with extra limbs were running, their extra limbs were doing its best to not move around so much in the air by holding onto the hero's torso, I start to do the same and it did helped a bit...it felt like I was carrying less drag force. I was able to catch up with Tokoyami who was shock from my sudden appearance. I saw Hawks give a grin at me, I was so proud of myself even if it's just a minor improvement. I checked the hero again and noticed they were running in big strides, I tried to follow and got more ahead of Tokoyami, "Woah...nice improvement"
"I was just looking at that hero, do you know him?" I pointed who was in pace with Hawks
"No, sorry"

I then saw the hero stopped a bit then suddenly jumps into the air almost reaching the top of the buildings with no effort needed. They then spin in the air and... "Ha!" sent a roundhouse kick on the villain who was running a bit slower than the rest, then pounces onto another and subdue them using the sticky substance they used earlier, they were quick. Hawks was chasing the last villain who got subdued by his feathers, the hero came along and trapped the villain on the ground with the substance. They gave each other a high-five.

I was helping the SWAT team by holding onto the villains, coiling my tentacles around their wrists as alternative handcuffs. "You did good today kid, but practice still" commented Hawks as he placed his hand on my shoulder and patted it. He was about to leave when I suddenly call him.

"Hey...Mr. Hawks?"
"Hmm?" he turns around and came back, "Don't call me Mr, we're literally just a few years apart, just Hawks is fine"
"Sorry"
"What's your question, kid?"
"I was wondering who that hero is?" I pointed to the mysterious hero who was assisting the swat team all at once, pointing out where to put the villains, where to put the wreckage done, where to put the bag of money, etc. He was using all of his limbs with ease, has was also able to hold a clipboard in hand while doing so...probably checking or listing things down.
"Oh, that? Ha! just some hero" Hawks then got shot at the back by the sticky substance, "Who you calling 'just some hero'? ha?" the hero reacted from instinctively from Hawks' comment even if he was about...20 meters away...

The hero then starts to walk up to us, still with the clipboard in hand, which he then used to smack on Hawks' head. "Ow! Jerk!"
"Say that to a mirror birdie" their voice was muffled to me since he was still wearing a mask. He then faces me "Sorry, Hawks is just a little...crazy in the head at times" he said. "Oi!" complained Hawks who got another smack on the head with the clipboard.

"Anyway who's this?" the hero asked to Hawks who then places his arm on my shoulders even though he can't reach me
"Care to introduce yourself?" Hawks said

"Oh uh.." I extended a hand to the hero, "Shoji, Mezo Shoji" he then grabs my hand and shook it, "Shoji, such a cute name" ....cute? He was about to introduce himself when, "Oops, where are my manners", he presses something on the side of his mask which then revealed his face, that's when I realized that 'he'...was a 'she'.

"Y/N Takeda, Hero Name: Arachnia"
"Arachnia...as in...the arachnid spider?" she smiles at my reply, that's when I noticed that she has two extra eyes that suddenly focused on me. I was so mesmerized from all of her details, as if my brain is telling me to learn more from her. I noticed that my hand was being tugged, "Earth to Shoji.." Hawks then joked, I just realized that I was still holding onto Y/N's hand.
"Oh! Sorry, sorry..." she then pats my head, "It's alright"
"Can I work at your agency!" I suddenly blurted out in a shouting way which made me cover my mouth instantly, she seemed to be shocked from my sudden impulse but laughs it off afterwards. "Um...I don't have one...actually" I probably expressed a questioned look because Hawks had to explain it further.

"She doesn't have her own agency because she works alone, almost like me, I was just suggested by the higher ups to open one since...times are tough without the Symbol of Peace hanging around anymore"
"Why?" I asked
"I'm not very fond of...children-" Hawks then interrupts her, "Shoji..." he then pushes me towards her "is actually near our age range"
"Still, I'm not a good teacher like this doofus" she bobs her head towards Hawk who then made a pained expression on his face.

"Please? I actually improved today by just watching how you run" her eyes widened, I just realized what I said, "NO! NO!..not in a perverted way. I observed how you run with your extra limbs since as you can see...mine are pretty heavy and draggy" she then scratches her chin as if in thought.

"Well...again I have no agency, so you're stuck with Hawks-" my head then bows since I feel like she'd still reject, "Yet..." she uses one of her arms to lift my chin up while her main arms are crossed in front of her, "I'll...allow YOU only...to train under me..okay? I don't want anybody else knowing it. Just. You. Clear?" I nodded my head in excitement. "There's another catch though, your internship ends at around...." she looks at Hawks, "5pm" he replied

"5pm...which means that you're going to have to train starting 6pm...and I don't even know how long it'll take. Are you sure you still want to train under me?" I nodded fiercely and yelled "YES!" at her.
"Okay...tough guy. I like that. Hawks will give you my details after you guys are done, we can start the training later"

She's not a known hero but I'm glad I got accepted by one...and to be trained under her. "Anyway, ciao" she leaves a two-finger salute at us and jumps from the ground onto the top of the building beside us.

Hawks suddenly shows a smirk on his face, "You like her, don't you?"
"What? No! I-I-I...just met her today"
"Ahhh but still...she's almost the same as you. Multiple arms, multiple eyes, maybe even multiple mouths"
"Hawks!??"
"Just kidding!"

The jokes never ended from Sir Hawks, but it was still exciting that I can still make a difference and be a great hero...not as good as All Might but enough to be...probably in the top.
