When We Met

The practice room was filled with the smell of sweat and the seven boys who were panting hard on the floor.

The BTS was preparing for their first comeback after their debut in June. The debut was a big success for everyone, everyone was appreciated and their hard work from their trainee days paid them off.

But here was Jimin who was body shamed for his physique in their debut performance. People started criticizing Jimin and the agency that how can a person with such a fat physique be a part of an idol band.

Other members supported Jimin and asked him to not concentrate on the negative comments and just focus on the positive sides. It gave a sense of relief to Jimin but whenever he reads the negative ones, they demotivated him badly.

He even thought of leaving the band for the benefit of the other members, he thought his presence can make a bad impact on the performances and the success of his other members.

But living together for almost 3-4 years together had made them each other's family. The 7 knew how to comfort each other and motivate them to do a hard work again.

Jimin understood his importance in BTS and made a decision to stay and face the criticism and try hard to convert them into his praises.

"Guys, I think you all should take a break you all have been practicing for almost 3 hours."

"Come and take a break, I bought food from convivence store." Spoke their manager, Seok Joon.

"Hyung, did you buy my banana milk?" asked the makane of the grp Jungkook.

"Yes, I did buy now come and eat otherwise one of you is going to definitely faint."

Everyone gathered around the food in a circle except Jimin who was still practicing the steps on the dance floor.

"Jimin, come and have your food, you promised me that you will not skip your meals. Come on" said Jimin's best friend V

"I am not skipping my meal, Taehyung don't worry I will for sure eat but before let me practice the last verse one more time."

"Ok, but don't forget to eat?"

"V Hyung is Jimin Hyung still skipping his meals?" asked concerned Jungkook.

"I try he doesn't, whenever he is around me, I make sure he eats his food. but I don't know about when I am not around, we can just hope that he does eat it." Replied V.

"I never thought that Jimin will skip his meals to be in a perfect body shape and not to look fat. How can he think of doing this, it's very harmful for his health." Said the oldest of the group Jin.

"That's right when V told me that Jimin is skipping his meals to look perfect, I thought is it my fault that I am the leader of the group and one of my group members is going thorough so much stress to look perfect so that he doesn't become a shame to the group, he skipped his meals. That really broke my heart." Stated RM.

"Guys, what's for the food?" asked the panting Jimin who just completed his practice.

Jimin took a packet of Kimbap and started eating his food. Seeing eating him, everyone around him had a smile of satisfaction on their faces it showed that now their little brother, best friend and the older brother is taking care of himself.

Everyone finishes their food and that ends their break & everyone starts practicing again, with more energy and excitement to show the world that BTS is a beginning of new era of K-pop industry.

D-DAY

Finally, the day came today was their first comeback performance with their 1st mini album. Everyone was cheered up and excited to perform no one seemed to be nervous. But deep down everyone knew that Jimin was very nervous and every member tried to comfort him in their own ways. Jimin felt thankful at this time, he knew when he needs support his other band members are standing with him to support him.

The time passed and BTS's turn to perform came, they went on the stage. The light turned off, the music started and a grand performance was delivered by BTS. They all knew everyone did a good job and the performance was perfect. Even Jimin looked relaxed which was a great relief for everyone.

Other performances came to an end & now it was the time for BTS's press conference.

"2, 3! Hello, we are BTS." introduced RM.

Reporter 1- "RM, how does it feel to make a debut finally after long years of being a trainee?"

RM- "For me being a trainee was also a great experience but as every other trainee it was also my dream to make a debut and show the world what a music is and what can I do. So, when I heard that I will be debuting, I didn't believe my ears I thought that did I really hear it or not am I really debuting. It was a dream come to me I think I can't even express those feelings because they are so special to me."

Reporter 2- "Jinssi, what are your expectations from your band?"

Jin- "I think you are using a wrong word expectation can't be used here because it's just the starting of our career we have many more years ahead. So, right now we are not expecting anything from anyone we are just doing what we had to."

Reporter 3- "Jungkookssi, you are the youngest one here does it feel uncomfortable to you to be in a group where everyone is older than you?"

Jungkook- "No, not at all I don't feel uncomfortable because my band members are not strangers to me. They are family to me and they are practically raising me, so there is no question of being uncomfortable."

Reporter 4- "Jiminssi, we came to know that you are being criticized for being fat & public is asking how can you become an idol with such a non-perfect body? What is your say on it?"

Jimin- "I amm__ actually...!"

After listening to the question of him being criticized Jimin became nervous and was unable to answer the question, he just felt leaving the stage right now.

Suga- "Excuse me, I think the time for press conference has ended. Hope to see you guys again. Please write a good article for us, thank you."

With this BTS left the stage and came back stage. It seemed like Jimin was mentally & emotionally hurt with the words of the reporters, no one asked or said anything.

Everyone thought that it will best for them to give Jimin some time alone. The pack up was done and BTS was on the way to their dorms. The ride was silent everyone was fast asleep seemed everyone was tired from the performance, except Jimin he was still awake.

"Seok Joon Hyung, can you please stop the car."

"What happened Jimin?"

"Are you not feeling well, should we go to hospital?"

"No, Hyung everything is good I just want to get some fresh air. So, llet me get off the car here and take everybody to dome, they are all tired they need some rest. I promise I will return home after some time."

"But Jimin..."

"Please Hyung, just for some time."

"Ok, but don't get late and if anything happens call me immediately."

"Thank you, Hyung."

With this Jimin gets off the car and starts walking to feel some cool breeze and to refresh his mind.
